Moore does her best Palin in 'Game Change' trailerWe know Julianne Moore can pull off the Sarah Palin look, but now we get a peek at how she'll carry the persona. HBO has released a teaser for their 2012 movie "Game Change," adapted from the best-selling book by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. The teaser takes us back to the 2008 presidential election campaign trail, depicting the then-Republican presidential nominee John McCain deciding to go with then-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running-mate.
Woody Harrelson stars as the manager of McCain's campaign, Steve Schmidt, with Ed Harris as the Senator himself. The clip is brief, just 52 seconds, but by the end we do see Moore-as-Palin take the stage to accept the nomination to run as vice president. What do you think of the clip? Holy _______! I am not a big fan of Julianne Moore and much less of Sarah Palin, but the two are almost indistinguishable. Julianne is outstanding! The obvious question is now: was McCain's campaign manager smoking as much dope and/or other drugs as Woody Harrelson when he came up with the idea of Palin as McCain's running mate? Maybe there is some typecasting involved here. There are a lot of intelligent women in politics in this country that could have changed the game plan for McCain, why did they settle on Palin? I guess I will have to check it out on HBO.
So many people hate this woman...does hollywood really think getting someone of Moore's talents to play her is going to pay off? Fire the exec who thought of this one!

I am all for showing the disgraced ex governor in all her glory like Josh Brolin's portrayal of Skippy Bush in "W", but Palin will take it as publicity and relish in the PR glow that is Sarah, regardless how truthful and cringing her character in the movie turns out. Caribou – you're on the money with your take. My only feeling about this movie is that it's a lesson on how you can take a ditzoid from out of nowhere and make them into some sort of hero or idol. Frankly , this whole story seems like a remake of "Face In The Crowd" starring Andy Griffith except with a female persona.

You're a fool since illegals are specifically called out as ineligible for coverage under the new plan... and the crux of the plan is to ensure every citizen pays or helps contribute to their own healthcare costs – so uninsured people with no ability to pay don;t show up to the hospital as often, requiring the rest of us to pay for them. You have things completely backwards.
The economy has been slowly improving. The main stallout in 2011 / 2012 has been largely due to the eurozone crisis unfolding... but I don;t expect you to actually deal with facts.
Te devaluation of the dollar is ON PURPOSE – since it devalues debt being held (i.e. it is devaluing the outstanding balances of people's mortgages since housing values declined). In addition it makes US goods cheaper overseas and foreign goods more expensive here... helping manufacturing substantially.
China pegs the yuan-dollar exchange rate artificially low – making their products cheaper here and ours costlier there. As a consequence, they are importing our inflation at a multiplier... helping to cause the high rates of inflation there. This will either force them to drop the peg, or accept unacceptably high inflation (all the while devaluing their holdings of US debt).
What you don't know would fill volumes.. of things called books.

I'm doing 4 at a time, because I'm silautlneousmy adding them to Flickr, and didn't want to overwhelm my Flickr stream with photos of my feet 🙂 And yes, I'm using my 28 everyday to try to get some continuity with the placement of my feet. Sarah Palin may not have been the best choice to run, but she did spur a dialogue and clear definition of stance in the US.
Funny the liberal/progressive call to arms is their outspoken and sometimes outrageous expression of their First Amendment rights, but they are alwasy the first to quell free speech at Universities when Conservative voices wish to exercise their rights as well.

Obama made a speech when he was a senator against going to war in Iraq and Afghanistan. He said to just go after Osama bin Laden, and he did it! Give him some credit. Mr. Bush is a good man, but his wars are a big reason for the mess we are in. Obama had done his best to clean up a mess he didn't make.
Obama just signed into legislation a law that will allow him at his sole discretion the authority to arrest anyone, anywhere, US citizen or not, and indefinitely detain them in a military prison.

Game Change is an appropriate name for this movie. When they put Palin on the ticket, it did change the race. They got whipped in the election. Biggest mistake the republicans ever made was putting an idiot like Palin on the ticket.

My big one is pre-pregnancy fitness. I had lost about 45 lbs here & there in 2008 & 2009. I felt great I felt the htasehielt I had felt in a long time, and I felt comfortable in my own skin. Then I gained it allllll back when I was pregnant. Some of it was because of complications & bedrest some of it was first time pregnancy stupidity & eating for 20 instead of 2 (and choosing potato chips & Reese's pieces instead of healthier options). I've already lost about 10 lbs, and now that the holidays are over (well, almost) it's time to focus! I joined a gym yesterday & went for the first time tonight. JoJo & MoMo's upcoming nuptials (I felt so eck at Miah & Teresa's wedding) & our trip to Hawaii next Sept (shorts, beachwear dear God, NO!!) are proving to be some good motivation!! Also, I want to take more pictures and my camera phone does not count[]
