Neve Campbell's Lifetime movie may become seriesNeve Campbell could be making a more regular return to the small screen. The once-upon-a-time "Party of Five"-er is starring in a Lifetime movie called "Sworn to Silence," and Entertainment Weekly reports that the network is thinking of treating it as a "backdoor pilot" for a possible series. "Sworn to Silence" sees Campbell's character return to the Amish Ohio town she grew up in as the police chief. Soon enough, she's heading up a murder investigation that recalls memories of grisly killings that happened in the community when she was a kid. If "Sworn to Silence" sounds familiar, perhaps you've picked up Linda Castillo's book of the same name, which is what the pilot is based on.
But even if "Sworn to Silence" doesn't make it to series, Campbell will stick around with Lifetime to create other scripted shows and movies. Said the President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks, Nancy Dubuc, in a statement, "Growing our scripted programming remains a top priority for Lifetime...I've always admired Neve's work. She is a proven talent who will bring a high level of intensity to this role and 'Sworn to Silence.'" |

I have read the book "Sworn to SIlence" as well as Lisa Castillos two others based in Amish country. They are excellent! I think making it into a series would be wonderful.
These are not happy, kitchy stories. They are about a former Amish turned police chief solving brutal murders in Amish country. They are quite compelling & you should give them a chance.
well arent you guys mature.
Am not. Im a chimpanzee. All chimpanzees are cute.
I heard it was a backdoor pilot because Neve likes it in the backdoor
She is old now. Old ang ugly.
your old and ugly
They're treating it as a backdoor pilot, interesting.
she used to be cute when she was a young girl.
Too bad Lifetime can't be sworn to exile from TV.
A man's "lifetime" is shortened when he watches "Lifetime." I'm guessing those Scream movies are just not cutting it anymore.
