In an interview with New York Magazine, the man behind Carrie Bradshaw’s favorite sky-high stilettos was shocked to learn that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s tiny tot already prefers pumps. “She wears high heels?” Manolo asked, incredulously.

Mindy Kaling gets her own cartoon“The Office's” Mindy Kaling is getting animated. The funny lady has landed her own cartoon on NBC, Deadline reports. Good news for fans of Kaling’s new book, “Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?”: The 32 year-old comedian will write, executive produce, and voice a character for the series, which is said to be about a high school volleyball team.

Lea Michele explains name change to Leno“Glee” starlet Lea Michele has made a name for herself without using her actual last name, but she opened up about why she dropped it Wednesday on “The Tonight Show." It's not unheard of for Hollywood stars to adopt a so-called mainstream moniker or just drop the last name altogether, but Lea says her new name was born of schoolyard bullying, not celebrity styling. "Sarfati. That's my real last name," the 25-year-old actress revealed to Jay Leno. "I don't use it a lot because I got Lea So-fatty, Lea So-farty at school. So when I was little and I went on my first audition they were like, 'And may we have your name,' and I was like 'Lea Michele.'"

Merry 'Express Christmas' from 'Modern Family'Leave it to Phil Dunphy to come up with "Express Christmas." (TM!) Wednesday night's episode (for the second episode in a row) saw the entire clan pitching in to pull off a big family holiday, since none of them were going to be together for Christmas after that day. They all went out in (somewhat unlikely) pairs, and it's quite a testament to the strength of this ensemble that any combination of characters works.

Questlove had a certain song ready for Katie HolmesQuestlove got in trouble with NBC for playing Fishbone's "Lyin' A– B-–h" as the walk-on song for Michele Bachmann on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” but Bachmann hasn't been his only target. According to the New York Post, he also had a particular track in mind for Katie Holmes. Questlove reportedly told Rolling Stone that he wanted to play "She Blinded Me With Science" as the actress walked out, but Jimmy Fallon shut him down. |
