Lily Collins tried out for Kristen Stewart's 'Snow White' roleAfter seeing the trailers for both of 2012's Snow White movies - "Mirror Mirror" and "Snow White and the Huntsman" - we don't need Lily Collins to tell us that there's little the two movies have in common. But Collins, who stars as the fair princess in "Mirror Mirror," has an intimate understanding of just how different her character is from Kristen Stewart's version in "Huntsman." "I did read the other Snow White script," the actress tells Access Hollywood. "I auditioned for it, but I've been so excited for Kristen."
The 22-year-old star continues to hammer home the point that "Mirror Mirror" is a completely different movie. "I think that story is so different than ours and the girls are so different. [Stewart's] perfect for her version, and I'm really excited to be doing this one. I think they have totally different audiences." Interesting. Well, there's at least one thing she and Stewart likely have in common, and that's some on-set combat training as both Snow White films feature princesses who fight. "This was insane training," Collins said. "I've been fight training and fencing for about three months now. I was kickboxing, doing some stuff on wires...it's been really intense." |

This woman cannot act. Only her connections are her only hope in this business.
Would somebody please tell her that the phrase is, "different from," and not "different than"? As in, "being a 'quotable' person in show business is different from being someone whose grammar is actually worth quoting."
You only eat turkey anus.
I think Charlize is a better queen than Julia and Lily is a better Snow than Kristen. Heck, I'm a better Snow than Kristen.
Wow, she must feel bad about herself and all, loosing to a mannequin...

I like turkeys.
@Josh. I love all Disney movies, even the animated ones. I have "Tangled" on dvr and am excited to watch it. Yeah, I agree that we all have the kid in us, always!
I thinks she'll pull it off. I think she is pretty. @Starrfire: I don't think any woman grows out of Snow White. I don't think we ever quite grow out the kid in us somehow.
At least from the trailers, it looks like "Snow White and the Huntsmen" (with Kristen Stewart) will be better, but it'l be interesting to see how they turn out!
Hey portalpunk, still eating leftover turkey? :). It doesn't matter who the actors are, I'd still watch any Snow White movie! Hope Kristen Stewart does good.
