'Game of Thrones' casts its Lord of Bones

HBO’s acclaimed series “Game of Thrones” has cast its Lord of Bones, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The outlet confirms that Edward Dogliani has been cast as Lord of Bones in the fantasy drama. The Hollywood newcomer will play the wildling raider also known as Rattleshirt in the upcoming season 2.

Author George R.R. Martin broke the casting news on his blog Tuesday, welcoming Dogliani to the fictional continent of Westeros, and adding, "I'm looking forward to seeing you in your bone armor.” So are we!

Also exciting for fans: HBO aired the very first season 2 promo on Sunday.

The promo is a very short teaser, offering only a hint at the upcoming plot, but it’s appreciated nonetheless. We learn from a hissing, scary voice that “the night is dark and full of terrors,” amid bursts of flames. Ominous!

“Game of Thrones” has been in production since late July, and season 2 will premiere in April.

I saw the trailer in the taether recently and I really couldn t tell what they were going for. About 99% of the trailer seems to be Single White Female with ballerinas but then there is this weird hint that there is something supernatural going on. But the mood seems to be more like the heroine is crazy or being driven crazy. The marketing isn t making it clear at all.
