Whitney Houston talks 'Sparkle'Whitney Houston has nothing but kind words for her "Sparkle" remake co-star, Jordin Sparks. "She knows how to look,” Houston says in an interview with "Entertainment Tonight." “Her voice is like an angel's. I think ['Sparkle's'] going to let the world see that the 'American Idol' that was chosen and won is truly capable of handling it." Houston is starring in and producing the upcoming remake of the 1976 hit, which was loosely based on the story of The Supremes. Sparks is playing the titular character, and Houston's playing her mom. "She's very quick, very good," the diva gushed to "ET" of the "Idol" alum. "Sparkle" also marks Houston's return to the movie industry. "I got a call from my partner Debra Martin and she said, 'You're not gonna believe this, but 'Sparkle's' been picked up and they want to do a film,'” Houston recalls. “And I was like, you're kidding?!” Cee-Lo Green and Mike Epps also star in the movie, which will be Houston’s first role since the 1996 film “The Preacher’s Wife.” “Sparkle” hits theaters next year.

I am so sick of people blaming Bobby Brown for Whitney's drug so call fall from grace. Did anyone even watch the reality show they had, If u did u would have seen she was the loud, aggressive, crazy one, He was actually pretty calm. I think birds of a feather flock together and before he meet her his career was at a high level. I have never been a Whitney fan because she is a fake! However glad to see she is off the pipe and trying to get back out there!
Whitney's gonna ROCK it on the big screen! Can't wait! This is gonna be EPIC!!

So glad to see Whitney back on the big screen. She looked beautiful and healthy on Entertainment Tonight, and I can't wait to see her new movie. It's great that she's put her life back on track, for her to go back to starring in major films shows that she's cleaned up. She divorced Bobby over 5 years ago, it's time for everyone to move on from the past too. She look amazing and sounds like her old normal self.
this is a good move for her. I caught her on ET with Jordin Sparks and she looked great, she's put on a few poulds but still beautiful glad to see her return to movies

Give her a chance to redeem herself. She shed the loser. She was once a talent and a voice without equal. She got lost, but that voice is still there. I personally can't wait to hear it again. And what a beauty!
