Expect a few scares with 'Community's' Halloween episodeThey've met "Batman" and turned into zombies, so what does "Community" do for an encore in its third Halloween episode on Thursday night? It'll be an episode that encompasses "lots of costume changes and special effects and a couple of real scares," according to actress Yvette Nicole Brown. "I thought last year with the zombies was the limit, but this year is even more fun and inventive." Brown explained, "Britta needs to find out something about a particular study group member and she believes the best way to find it out is by having the gang tell spooky stories. The story each person tells says a lot about who they really are. They're enlightening on many levels!" Highest-grossing actor ever? Samuel L. JacksonSamuel L. Jackson’s many films have brought in more money than any other actor's, ever. It may be somewhat surprising, but according to the Guinness Book of World Records, Jackson’s films have raked in $7.57 billion through 2010, according to a spokesperson for Guinness. His record's been in the book since 2007. Since his 1991 debut in Spike Lee’s “Jungle Fever,” the busy actor has made more than 100 movies, many of them blockbusters. 'Dumb and Dumber' sequel in the works?A “Dumb And Dumber” sequel might be the Farrelly brothers’ next project, Deadline reports. And yes, they would employ the original cast! Writers have already been hired to script the film, and now that “Dumb and Dumber” directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly have wrapped “The Three Stooges,” another Harry and Lloyd adventure may be next on their list. If you lived under a rock during the ‘90s, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels starred in 1994 hit “Dumb and Dumber” as dimwitted pals Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne. Ellen and Portia to open vegan restaurantFamous vegans Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi are providing their animal product-free brethren with one more dining option, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The blonde power couple are going in on a vegan restaurant with The Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde and producer Steve Bing. The new L.A. eatery will be located on Ventura Boulevard in California’s San Fernando Valley. Vegan chef Tal Ronnen, who catered Ellen and Portia’s wedding, will create the restaurant’s menu. Designer Waldo Fernandez, who’s worked for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, will do the space’s interior. The Throwback: 'Great Pumpkin' at 45The classic "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is celebrating its 45th anniversary today. Meaning, if "Great Pumpkin" were a marriage, this would be its sapphire anniversary. Good grief! The classic Peanuts gang Halloween special originally aired on October 27, 1966.
