Johnny Depp does surprise show with ZZ TopSimilar to fellow actor Lucy Liu, Johnny Depp doesn't keep his talents limited to the screen. The actor was in Austin, Texas over the weekend to attend the Austin Film Festival, where he received the Extraordinary Contribution to Acting Award, reports the Austin Chronicle. While in town, Depp also popped up at the local University of Texas campus, the Paramount Theatre - and on stage at the Continental Club to play guitar with Bill Carter and the Blame and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. People magazine reports that the venue was filled to triple the capacity, but the cramped dwellings didn't interrupt the experience. According to People, the crowd ate up the 90 minute show. A friend of mine worked this show. He said it was amazing. Johnny Depp was awesome and Billy Gibbons is a local legend.
Was it worse than The Deathly Hallows part 1? That was the most boring and worst HP movie yet. The running scene and time Harry spent with Hermione in hiding was so dumb and boring I almost dosed off.
