Woody Allen: 'I'd cast Michelle Obama'

Filmmaker Woody Allen isn’t content to hire only actresses for his movies, he wants political figures as well.

Allen cast France's first lady Carla Bruni in a recent project, and USA Today reports that he’d like to give FLOTUS Michelle Obama a role, too.

"If I was in a room with Michelle Obama, and I thought she was right for a part, I wouldn't hesitate to ask her," Woody told the British television program “Daybreak.” No audition needed!

Allen, 75, recalled that he was having dinner with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife when he decided to cast Bruni.

Carla Bruni appeared in Allen’s latest film, “Midnight in Paris,” as a museum tour guide.
