Antonio Banderas has a way with the kitties.
Ahead of the more typical movie premiere, the 51-year-old actor hosted an all-feline debut for his latest animated feature "Puss in Boots," USA Today reports.
Catty Hollywood stars "Leonardo DiCatrio," "Kitty Perry" and "Cat Blanchett" were all in attendance for the flick, which will be released October 28.
The actor himself walked the red carpet with a long-haired white feline. "I don't think she'll be jealous," Banderas, who dressed as casually as his four-legged companions, said of wife Melanie Griffith.
"There are no tuxedos here," he went on. "The natural elegance is already with them. In fact, some wore no pants at all."
It does sound like things got rather frisky with the furry moviegoers - Banderas reports that "there were lots of things going on in the back of the theater with the beautiful lady cats and the honorable men."
But once "Puss in Boots" started rolling, "they really got into the movie," he noted, no doubt with help from the special kitty 3-D glasses the trained cats wore.
