The next eliminated contestant on 'DWTS' is...A strong quickstep and praise from the judges weren't enough to keep Elisabetta Canalis around on "Dancing With the Stars." The Italian actress, best known in the United States for being George Clooney's ex-girlfriend, was the second contestant eliminated from the ABC competition last night. Canalis was left in the bottom three with David Arquette and Chaz Bono, both of whom scored lower than Canalis after Monday's competition. But Canalis may have been hurt by lack of name recognition, as well as memories of her disappointing cha-cha from last week. Nevertheless, Canalis was pleased with her run on the show. "It was a great adventure," Canalis told the crowd after her elimination. "I want to thank everybody, especially those who voted for me." HLN's Nancy Grace breathed a huge sigh of relief when she learned she was safe. She admitted last week that she was no fan of having to wait until the end of the show to learn about her fate. Grace and the nine remaining celebrities will now prepare for next week's dance, which involves the stars expressing the most memorable year of their lives. What did you think of last night's "Dancing With the Stars" episode? Did America get it right by eliminating Canalis? |

this is a show for idiots, the men dance like women and the women behave like men. and the make it worse, there is not Stars in this show. losers.
Canalis should have been eliminated first, she obviously has no dancing talent.
As long as Anna is still dancing I could care less who gets eliminated.....she's a whole bag of yum!
As Bill Clinton would say: "That all depends on what the meaning of the word star is!" If they want ratings, have Sarah Palin dancing with Joe McGinniss. The whole world will tune in!
So Nancy Grace does not like to wait until the end of the show to hear her fate? It probably reminds her of waiting for jury verdicts back during the days when she tried cases for a living.
She should never have been on the show.....it is Dancing with the Stars...NOT....Dancing with a Model from Italy.....ugghh
Who among them is a star?
I thought Elisabetta had a lot of potential and could have been a finalist eventually. Certainly, Nancy Grace, Chaz Bono and possibly even Carson (though I enjoy watching him and he really brightens up the show) should have gone before her. But I do have to agree that many times it is just a matter of fan base and Elisabetta has no fan base here in the U.S.. Otherwise, Kirstie Alley would have been eliminated early on last season and never reached the finals.
Everyone... none of them are stars.
As Bill Clinton would say: "That all depends on what the meaning of the word star is!" If they want ratings, have Sarah Palin dancing with Jor McGinnis. The whole world will tune in!

Sounds like your typical popularity contest. Almost everyone these days knows Chaz Bono... and David Arquette... well if all those Scream movies weren't something (other than bad)...
