Following the season 3 premiere of "Glee" on Tuesday, "Sesame Street" spoofed the Fox show choir series with its own version designed to teach kids about the letter "G."
"Sesame Street" nails the show from the start, from Mr. Schuester's puppet alter ego Mr. Gooster to the berry-colored version of Rachel Berry. When "Mr. Goo" asks the glee club to sing the "G" sound together, the Berry double mutters, "I'll probably drown you all out anyway."
Sue Sylvester is just as biting on Sesame Street - "I happen to know 'G' is the first letter in...gel, and you ought to know Gooster, you use enough of it" - and the puppet we think must be a stand in for Kurt Hummel is just as theatrical. When the letter "G" shows up, the crew launches into a "G"-centric remix of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'."
Dare we say, we like "G" more than we liked "Glee's" season premiere.
