David Arquette, Courteney Cox developing sitcom

Estranged couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette have oft repeated that their split hasn't affected their friendship, and it doesn't look like it's affected their business relationship either. TVLine reports that the actors are reportedly developing a sitcom together.

The “Friends”-esque comedy series “explores the ups and downs of relationships across a group of friends, spanning 10 years,” according to sources. It’s tentatively titled “10 Years.”

Two of the characters may be nominally inspired by David and Courteney's separation and co-parenting situation. (The actors are parents to daughter Coco, 7.) Arquette could potentially be a star, but Cox would likely stay behind the scenes, as she has “Cougar Town” commitments.

The couple will start pitching the ensemble project to networks soon, and TVLine speculates that Cox and Arquette’s ABC Studios-based Coquette Productions will likely get first dibs.

Stoned as a football bat? If you leave your windows open at night do they fly in and eat your twinkies?

Oh great! Another 10 years of "Friends" and dysfunctional relationships/families! Isn't there enough dysfunctional relationships/families in real life that we have to see it on TV too? Let me guess the writers either script reality TV or script something similar to their own lives on TV. My bad ~ Isn't that called reality TV?

Actually, I like their last sitcom they did together. And it seems dysfuntional families win awards....
