While you were working...Today's news you might've missed:
Ryan Gosling on his two great (famous) lovesAs if Ryan Gosling wasn't swoon-worthy enough already, he’s gone and gushed about his ex-girlfriends and his baby fever, reports the New York Daily News. Gosling recalled his relationships with former lady loves Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams to U.K. paper The Times. "I had two of the greatest girlfriends of all time. I haven't met anybody who could top them," the actor, 30, said of the two stars. Tim Gunn: Kirstie Alley is not a size 4There’s no question that Kirstie Alley has seriously slimmed down thanks to her stint on “Dancing With the Stars” last season, but style guru Tim Gunn says the actress is not the size 4 she's been touted as. The “Project Runway” star says vanity sizing is to blame for the clothing confusion. Alley, 60, told Entertainment Tonight that she’s lost 100 lbs and has dropped ten dress sizes. "I feel like I'm back in my element," she enthused in an interview that aired Tuesday. 'Blair Witch Project' creator ready for anotherJust when you were OK to go camping again, horror movie website Bloody Disgusting reports that the filmmakers who brought you "Blair Witch” are still intent on making another installation a reality. “Blair Witch” creator Eduardo Sanchez revealed that he’s ready to do a third film to resuscitate the franchise’s legacy. The new movie will be unrelated to Artisan’s 2000 flick “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2,” which Sanchez says, “wasn’t really a sequel to our movie.” Sanchez and Daniel Myrick co-wrote and directed the revolutionary 1999 horror film, which followed film students investigating a local legend. The pair announced their version of a sequel in 2009, but few new details emerged since. David Arquette, Courteney Cox developing sitcomEstranged couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette have oft repeated that their split hasn't affected their friendship, and it doesn't look like it's affected their business relationship either. TVLine reports that the actors are reportedly developing a sitcom together. The “Friends”-esque comedy series “explores the ups and downs of relationships across a group of friends, spanning 10 years,” according to sources. It’s tentatively titled “10 Years.” Two of the characters may be nominally inspired by David and Courteney's separation and co-parenting situation. (The actors are parents to daughter Coco, 7.) Arquette could potentially be a star, but Cox would likely stay behind the scenes, as she has “Cougar Town” commitments. The couple will start pitching the ensemble project to networks soon, and TVLine speculates that Cox and Arquette’s ABC Studios-based Coquette Productions will likely get first dibs. Upon turning 60, Sting still feels like a teenIf anyone knows how to throw a party, it’s Sting. And the musician has good reason to pull out all the stops for his upcoming birthday – he’s turning 60. (We know what you're thinking, because we thought it too: "Wha…?! Sting is 60? How did this happen?!") “I don't feel 60,” Sting tells CNN. “I feel like I'm 14-and-a-half in many respects.” |
