Kate Gosselin open to doing more TVMake no mistake, Kate Gosselin wouldn't mind being back on TV. The reality star made that clear this morning on “Today." Kate, whose TLC show “Kate Plus 8” ends tonight, assured Matt Lauer, "I'm sure you will see my kids again at some point.” "If the right thing came along, I think we're still in [agreement] with it," the mom of eight said of going back on the air with her brood.
And while "there is some relief," Kate admits of ending her six-year filming stint, “there is [also] sadness, because it's the end of an era." In the wake of her show’s cancellation, the famous mom is also concerned for her "devastated" fans. Kate, who rose to fame with husband Jon Gosselin on the series “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” quickly became a tabloid staple when the couple’s marriage unraveled in 2009. And Jon Gosselin isn’t as enthusiastic as his ex about putting his kids in the limelight. “I don’t think it’s healthy for them,” he told Larry King during the divorce. "Reality TV is not a career," Jon said in an interview with RumorFix.com. He implored Kate: "Get back to a normal life – a simple life." Looks like Kate won’t be heeding that advice. "Jon may [accept what's] mediocre for his kids," she said of his comments. "I want the best for my kids." Yes Im sure we will be seeing your kids again... hopefully via their wedding photos. I do not see why you play the part you're so worried about show being cancelled. You say your smart (cough), so then I'm sure you saved the thousands you made, as well as the saving accounts you established for your children (your money makers after all). So? The older girls are stuck with caring for the young children. The older girls don't seem to have the ability to attend college and all seem focused on "getting married & having babies" and that's about it. The oldest son is now the father of 2 kids and has no college education. He runs a used car dealership.
The Duggars are focused on marrying off their kids to others with the same religous beliefs but don't seem to want their kids to attend college away from home. The kids are all home schooled, take church trips/family vacations together & have little contact with the real world.
These 19 kids are in for a huge wake up call once away from Mom & Dad Duggar

She is totally addicted to the camera and money. She has lost sense of the real world if she calls hard working people "mediocre." She should have planned ahead for this day and put some money aside rather than blow it on herself and hiring others to raise her kids. I have seen her as a temp replacement host on The View, she was stiff, unresponsive and couldnt figure out how to add to the conversations. Also, if we look at how melo-dramatic she was on Dancing with the Stars, it just shows she isn't the best team player and loves to be in control. It sure would be a hard sell for me to even consider watching her on any show she is on in the future. She should quietly go away and probably go back to nursing, being a normal mom, get rid of her body guard and get over herself.

I feel sorry for the children. First, they lost the live in father. Now, they have lost their nanny (Ashley) of 5 years who just could not put up with Kate any longer. Ashley was in tears saying that she would give up her life for the kids but Kate had changed. She was all about makeup, clothes, and shoes now. Even Steve the bodyguard was fed up with Kate. And the major cause of blow up last night on the RV trip was the kids eating pizza. BIG WHOOP!!! MAJOR CRIME OF THE CENTURY!!! Kate wasn't even in the same RV as the kids; the nanny and Kate's best friend Jamie (for how much longer???). I truly think Kate should sell some land and go back to nursing. She was a dialysis nurse and they don't make chump change. Granted the kids were excited to see the camera crews again when Kate Plus 8 started, but I really think Jon should go back to court & get an order that bans TV shows until age 18 or so except for maybe a holiday special because I do believe they have a fan base that wants to see the kids grow up.
I guess she is open to more TV but who wants to watch her? First of all, she has no talent, has very little to say and she is a nasty mean human being. You would think there are enough pretty girls out there who have to bring something to the table. It sure isn't her!

TLC exploited those children for ratings – shame on them. A year or so ago Jon tried to get the plug pulled on the show but the State of Pennsylvania sided with Kate and the show went on. I give him major points for trying and for keeping his time with them after the divorce from being filmed and aired. He's living a quiet life now and as far as I'm concerned is a much better parent than their mother. Kate's interest is Kate and what Kate wants and what Kate needs. Jon has gotten his priorities straight and is trying to put the best interests of his kids first.
Do what you want in your career Kate but leave your kids out of it.

I never watched the show, never will, personally feel this no talented woman is just one of many who "used" her children (or other non moralistic behaviors) to get famous. If she had one shred of talent (of which others who climbed that same ladder did, it appears), didn't gain the small bit of attractiveness she has now, which isn't much, though plastic surgery (that she-again didn't pay for) – I may consider giving it a shot if she EVER is given another show. Dancing With The Stars showed true (lack of) personality as well. Get a normal life and quit using your kids- You should have a few bucks stashed away in that nest egg of yours somewhere? When the show was about a regular family with extra kids, it was good. When it went to Kate in her hair/make-up designer duds and tantrums, it stunk. Without Jon to balance her, she came off like a harridan. As for wanting to be on TV, she needs to go back to church, get a real job & raise her kids. My problem with Kate is that she's just a mean person. I always hated the show (my roomates used to watch it), and couldn't STAAAAND watching her/listen to her berate her husband or kids. She is so blessed with her family and all she can muster is a puss on her face. It's so sad what happened to them. I think Jon is better off and will have a great life because his priorities now seem to be coming back down to reality, having a job, and being with his kids when he can. She is just a train wreck and I hope to see her fade away. The negative energy produced by her LITERALLY stresses me out and scares me. I don't even want to KNOW what it's done to her family. Scary.

The funny thing is, I don't disagree with what most of you are saying. Yes, the situation is kind of messed up and yes, I sincerely hope those kids get a shot at normal, camera free lives. Second, I hate to break it to you Kate but life will go on just fine without you. Your "fans" will simply move on to the next big thing. People watched you in the beginning because they wanted to see how you and Jon struggled with 8 kids and managed your careers. It was REAL. But once you both stopped working real jobs, bought a huge house with several acres, the new cars, the expensive trips that were obviously paid for by TLC – the reality was gone. Face it – without your kids and the drama between you and Jon, you simply aren't that interesting. Lots of people have more than 8 kids and they never had TV shows. What makes you think you're so special?

I will say in Kate's favor; Jon is a total loser, (although Kate knew that and that's why she wanted him, she could control his every move, and that of his sperm....), and I believe Kate was right when she said their show was the only true reality show. She showed all the warts and all the flowers; she just didn't know that the kids were the flowers and she was the wart!

When they showed the past clips, I actually became a little teary because THAT was the family I loved to watch. I know people have to change but Kate has become someone who I just don't recognize and do not care to see anymore. Her friend put it best, she's NOT Angelina Jolie. And if she is supposedly not proud about how she sometimes treats people, then she needs to change more than her heels and her hair.
Because the Duggars don't have hair/make up , they don 't have handlers it's a REALITY show. Can't wait for the kids tell-alls, she'll be back on tv soon enough if she stands by her kids through their arrests and court appearances. First let me say I have never watched more then 15 minutes of this show and I had to turn the channel, what a complete waste of air time, that woman Kate, grates on my every nerve. I think these 'parents' what exploit their kids for fame are pathetic and should have their kids taken away (Kate, Toddlers and Tiaras, all those ridiculous shows). Kate needs to go crawl back from under the rock she came from and either be a proper parent, or give those kids up. Attention w h o r i n g is NOT in the kids best interest. I hope she put some money aside for the therapy those kids are definitely going to need when they're older.
Kate give it up. I hate your show. What made you worse is acted like a total priss on the Palin show in AK (ooo..I broke a nail and I am so cold...I want a lodge). You are from PA and were cold in AK Summer??!! Its not that bad move around instead of sitting there with scowl on your face. All Kate is going to miss is the money and the spotlight. Try concentrating being a mom and go back to work. She was a nurse and should go back to work. Oh dear, I will be recognized and hounded...get real...here today, gone tomorrow. You have no talent and your voice is annoying.
I've always been a fan of the series, but honestly I think the show has run its course. Kate needs to get back to the real world, away from the cameras, and enjoy her life. I think all the fame and publicity went to her head and she needs to remember that what she may think is good for her, may not necessarily be good for her kids.
kate, I also come from Pa and I attempted a come back and look where it got me. At some point u should let it go and be a mom. u grew up to be a narcissist and u make the excuse u need money to raise your family. well welcome to america. everyone needs money,but they don't exploit their children. you know as a child u were raised in a trailer park. now u have a chip on your shoulder cause u had a tv show . u can take the chick out of the trailer park but u cant take the trailer park out of the chick !
I can't believe Kate is still seeking to remain in the limelight to draw attention to herself. Kate needs to go back to her nursing profession & pay attention to the "reality show" of her own LIFE as the mother of 8 children. After having two perfectly healthy twin girls, she and Jon took the risk & brought 6 MORE kids into their family. It is time they BOTH took full responsiblity to support their own children.
The kids are older & to me seemingly have lost their "cuteness" appeal. Hearing the kids and Kate constantly whine and complain and cry is stomach churning. Kate enjoys the benefits of wonderful vacations, hair/makeup/clothing stylist to look great on TV. The children think THIS is real life. The children are in for a wakeup call once the cameras are gone and they are no longer the center of attention on a TV show.
Wake up Kate, you've already taken this as far as it can go. I was never a true fan of the show, I did watch it in the begnning. It lost its appeal once Kate & Jon started the figthing. Once Kate became a nasty loud mouthed witch & Jon started sleeping around with alot of young women, I no longer watched the show.
