Batmobile for sale on eBayOne lucky fanboy or fangirl can gear up for next summer’s "The Dark Knight Rises” with a replica Batmobile. Well, one wealthy fan: the vehicle is listed for $620,000 on eBay. And this isn’t Christian Bale’s modern tumbler-tank. It’s a replica of the Batmobile Michael Keaton drove around Gotham City in Tim Burton’s 1989 film. Casey Putsch of Putsch Racing Designs says his sleek, turbine-powered driving machine is the only authentic replica of the 1989 Batmobile. The 365 horse power Batmobile can run on jet fuel, and features digital avionics and a mounted touch-screen iPad with 3G. Oh, and the engine comes from a military drone helicopter. "This car is ready to be enjoyed by an enthusiast who is looking for the ultimate luxury in one-upmanship," according to the eBay description. The seller also notes its "perfect reliability record." Interested buyers can check out the listing on eBay. But hurry, the bidding ends in three days! |

Thanks , I've just been looking for information about this topic for ages and yours is the best I've found out so far. However, what about the conclusion? Are you positive about the source?|What i don't realize is in reality how you are no longer actually much more well-preferred than you might be right now. You're so intelligent.

This is extra rich collector's only. lOl It had beter be drivable, too.
Would someone please explain "authentic replica" and why anyone in their right mind would pay $620,000.00 for a car?
By "authentic" I assume the seller means that it's the only replica out there with a working turbine engine, whereas most other replicas would probably employ regular gas engines and just make it appear like they have turbines.
One time I went cave diving and ate some bat doo doo. 100% TRUE STORY.
Turbines are really cool until you hear how loud they are in automotive applications.
That said, this is an awesome looking replica.
office drone what big words your using.i am very impressed!yes it is awesome looking.i so agree;)
Well there isn't just the noise problem. If it were a real jet engine you would have all that debris flying into the intake making short work of the engine. Everything in front of it, including a few pedestrians, would get sucked in.
Seeing this classic batmobile makes me realize how much I hate Nolan's tumbler.
MORE JET FUEL!!!!!!
Back in the 60's or early 70's, the original batmobile, which was made in MIchigan, was sent back to Holland, MI. not sure for repair, or the series was over. Friends of my hubby stole it & went for a joyride in it. They returned it, & nobody was the wiser. Just had to share that story.
I'd rather have a bike to ride to the sperm donor and blood plasma clinics to make my weekly beer money.
FIRSTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May I have your autograph?
Cool ride.
