Jon Stewart hosting Nirvana anniversary interviewTo celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of “Nevermind,” Jon Stewart will host a Q&A session on Sirius radio with the surviving members of Nirvana. The two-hour event will take place on September 24, reports The Huffington Post. Nirvana members Dave Grohl (now of the Foo Fighters) and Krist Novoselic, as well as “Nevermind” producer Butch Vig, will be on-hand to take questions from fans. Lead singer Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994. “Nevermind” sold 10 million units in the U.S. alone, and featured the band’s biggest hit, “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” And bust out your ripped flannels, Nirvana fans, because you can enjoy all-Nirvana all the time (well, from September 23 until September 28), on SiriusXM’s channel Nevermind Radio.

@starrfire ~ I am glad your family can still vacation.@mario ~ It is scary going through hurricane (grew up in SE PA). My biggest weather nightmare that thankfully I have never experienced is a tornado. I am scared of them. You cannot prepare for them. I would rather still be facing hurricanes!

I absolutely still adore Kurt Cobain after all these years. I still remember the first time I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit when it first came out–Brilliant. On top of being an incredibly gifted songwriter and musician, he was simply one of the most genuine, REAL artists who ever lived. Watch his videos, interviews and performances on youtube and you'll see what I mean.They very rarely make artists like that anymore–He actually had a Soul.

Good morning, Fix! I thing I posted that on the wrong blog. Didn't realize I was firsty! I'm in NC and been glued to the news on tv. Hoping Irene weakens and goes away. I'm safe where I live but worry about damage at the Outer Banks cuz that's where our family will go on vacation at in 2 wks. You have a good day!
