Passports are here on 'Jersey Shore'

Update, 3:37 p.m.: "Shore's" season 4 premiere reeled in 8.8 million viewers, making it MTV's most-watched season premiere to date, according to the network. The reality show's season 3 premiere set the same record when it debuted in January, drawing in 8.45 million viewers.

Last night we watched as the “Jersey Shore” cast packed up their valuables – hairdryers, stuffed crocodiles, etc. – and headed across the pond.

Snooki was pretty excited to go to Italy, which she initially referred to as “that big country” before correcting herself: “Oh no, Europe is that big country.”

Roseanne Barr: Palin's inspiring me to run for prez

Roseanne Barr is the latest celebrity to swing her focus towards politics.

Following Matt Damon's critiques of education policy and tax cuts, the actress and star of the Lifetime reality show "Roseanne's Nuts" told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" Thursday that she's running for president.

No, really. Barr said: "You know Jay, I decided that since you're the one that got Arnold Schwarzenegger elected as governor of California, that I wanted to make my announcement here on your show because I really wanted to ask for your support. My announcement is that I am running for president of the United States."

Sarah Michelle Gellar's going back to 'AMC'

Sarah Michelle Gellar is getting back to her soapy roots.

The star of the CW's  "The Ringer" will have a cameo on "All My Children" before the ABC show's last televised episode on September 23. The 34-year-old actress starred on the show as Kendall from 1993-1995, but she says she's not going to reprise that role.

"I called them and said you know I don’t want to come back as Kendall because that is Alicia [Minshew]'s role and I would never step on that," Gellar told CNN.

Friday's Top Five: Money movies

The pursuit of happiness, a clever phrase, actually referred to our founding fathers’ affinity for their bank accounts.

As we've seen this week in Congress, our ability to access cash has been woven into the fabric of our Constitution. So this week, we're taking a look at movies about money, the lengths we'll go to acquire it, and the curse it can carry along with it.
