Will and Jada Pinkett Smith: Our home represents our loveOne would guess that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith don't get to spend a lot of time at home, seeing that they've got their own jobs and their kids have gigs too, but whenever the power couple does find time to chill out they've got an impressive 25,000 square feet to do it in. The Smith family opened the doors to their expansive Calabasas, California house in the September issue of Architectural Digest. Designed by architect Stephen Samuelson, the home has a circuitous floor plan. "The idea was to create an infinite cycle that represented what Jada and I hoped for our love," says Will Smith. Coldplay pays tribute to Amy WinehouseColdplay paid tribute to the late Amy Winehouse Wednesday night during a concert in Los Angeles to benefit the Grammy Foundation. Proceeds from the evening will support high school music education programs through the Grammy Foundation's "Grammy in the Schools" charity. During the band's encore, singer Chris Martin surprised the audience by slyly launching into Winehouse's signature tune, "Rehab." The British quartet then segued into its own 2005 hit, "Fix You." It was a poignant moment as the crowd sang along with Martin on the chorus, "Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you." |
