Lea Michele resisted plastic surgery pressureHollywood's notorious for being brutal about physical appearance, as "Glee" star Lea Michele knows all too well. In the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the actress recounts crude comments she got while pursuing showbiz. "How many managers told me, ‘Get a nose job. You’re not pretty enough’? But I proved them wrong," Michele tells the magazine. “I’m five foot three. I don’t look like a lot of other people, you know what I mean? I look like I’m 12.” But unlike so many Hollywood heavyweights, Michele resisted altering her face, and her star is rising. The “Glee” movie hits theaters in 3-D this month. Laughs Michele, “My nose is going to look fabulous.”

She looks hot. I wonder if you look half as good as she does.
Society has a serious case of insecurity(vanity)....plain and simple. There's is nothing like NATURAL beauty, and a face that doesn't look like it will crack if moved. Seriously, to me, most women look worse after having surgery to tighten their face and getting a lizard-like nose.
This woman is absolutely beautiful the way God created her.
Thank God someone is comfortable enough with herself – in her own skin that in this ridiculous hollywood culture that distorts individuals faces so that they all look alike – to say 'no'... i'm beautifully unique. Kudos to you Lea Michelle!!!! You're amazingly beautiful!!!

For those of you who say she should have a nose job or any plastic surgery..I would say Joan Rivers, Kenny Rogers, Barry Manilow...NOT. If she opted for plastic surgery does not mean that her nose would be any smaller or cuter it could just be stretched out.... It could have gone either way.
Jennifer Grey and Ashley Tisdale both destroyed their looks with schnozz jobs. They both became nondescript zeroes. Good for Lea to resist!!

hollywood got it right...her nose IS HUGE!!!!! she sings alllright... but her nose distracts from 'actually ' hearing what she's singing!!!! a BARBARA STREISAND...she will NEVER BE!!!!
Her nose is better looking that Streisand, but no way is she in Streisand's class as a singer or an actor. Her singing is full of those stupid little extra sounds, that she uses to mask her limitations. It's so annoying I leave the room when she sings, even though I mildly like Glee and sometimes watch it with my wife and daughter, who really like it. And she's got no dramatic range as an actress.
I think she's gorgeous. So much better than a standard-issue Hollywood beauty.

Please people have over blown her supposedly big ago so much. So she driven and ambitious she seems to get long great with the cast and I have seen many accounts at her being great with fans.
Yeah – if you were as talented as Lea Michele... you'd have an ego as well. And fact check – I am a HUGE fan and I have met her by chance (not at a press or fan event, but randomly in a parking lot in LA), and I admittedly behaved as a 13 year old girl would around Bieber (not too proud of that). She was nothing but gracious, kind, and talkative. Don't hate the beautiful and talented.
