![]() What's the verdict: Rebecca Black's 'My Moment'?Rebecca Black hasn't let naysayers stand in the way of her escalating fame, but the 14-year-old's latest, "My Moment," may not help her transition from being responsible for what was called the worst song ever and into an actual singer. Reaction to Black's single, which focuses on her rise to fame and where her haters can get off, has ranged from "ugh" and "horrendous" to "it's actually not that bad." Yet critics focused on another aspect of the song: Regardless of whether you appreciate the track's arrangement, it's not exactly an ideal follow-up to a song that celebrated the days of the week. Maya Rudolph welcomes a baby boyThis summer's celebrity baby boom continues with "Bridesmaids" star Maya Rudolph, who welcomed a baby boy with director Paul Thomas Anderson on July 3, CNN confirmed. The couple named their new arrival Jack, and he's "at home and doing great," Rudolph's rep said. Just as they did with Jack's older sisters Pearl, 5, and Lucille, 20 months, they opted to stay in the dark about their baby's sex. Waiting until the delivery to find out is "kind of fun," Rudolph told David Letterman in 2009. "Because when you're ready to throw in the towel and you've got nothing positive to think about or feel because you're so heavy and you want to float in a pool of salt water to be buoyant, it was nice to have something to look forward to." If you're looking forward to more Rudolph, her new NBC show "Up All Night," also starring Christina Applegate and Will Arnett, premieres on the network on September 14. Katy Perry denies claims her relationship is on the rocksKaty Perry and Russell Brand still have weeks to go before celebrating their first wedding anniversary, but as E! Online notes, recent rumors suggested that the two may not make it that far and are considering a trial separation. Not quite, Perry tweeted. Of course, it's just one of many rumors that the two are struggling to keep their marriage together after tying the knot last October. Earlier in the year arrived allegations that Perry was seeking a marriage counselor, and after that came gossip that she had cheated on Brand before their wedding, claims that had Perry reportedly seek legal action. For his part, Russell Brand is backing up the wife. "You tell em Mrs Brand!" the comedian and actor tweeted. "In Britain we're currently dismantling the scum media so I'm not tuned in to their brain-farting."
