Jessica Alba: I'm only getting betterFor Jessica Alba, it wasn’t until she had her daughter Honor in 2008 that she learned to own her sexuality. "I was quite shy with it," she tells Allure magazine in their August issue. "It wasn't something I embraced until I had my daughter. I saw how incredible and amazing it is to be a woman and to be able to create a life. There's a reason why certain areas of the body are desirable –- because it all leads to reproduction." More photos of Jessica Alba in Allure Alba, who is expecting again, says having her daughter changed her in other ways, too.
“I can’t ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor. My body’s just different,” she says. “The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently. It’s a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterwards. Unless you’re Gisele.” But the 30-year-old actress isn’t worried about maintaining her status as one of the hottest in Hollywood. "According to some people, I peaked in my early 20s," she laughs. I like how celebs act like their life's experiences are something new that only they discovered. I am sure she is a nice person but the men have been attracted to women and that leads to reproduction concept as been around since there have been males and females.

In Hollywood 30 is OLD.. after 25, skin must be shown.. its the mentality, its the industry, and while good/great actresses buckle in and take pg13 roles, and don't fight for less materialism and more substance in their roles. they aren't helping the younger ones and just make worse peer pressures for young girls today.. I feel sorry for girls/women 13-25.. the pressure.. oh well, I guess that can happen if your parents aren't good and moral role models.. if you don't show yourselves as role models for your kids, who knows who will, and what kind of "adults" they'll end up being.. you only reap what you sow, or not sow..

I'm not sure why she or anyone else thinks she has a future now that her looks and body are fading. She traded exclusively on her looks. She had no other talent. Her "acting" ranged from awful to mediocre. It's not like she's Juliane Moore, who can still rely on her acting ability as she gets older. She doesn't have any acting ability to fall back on.

I think she's gorgeous and sometimes when we get older we gain the self confidence we never had and that shines through! The 20s only lasts 10 years people – if out of your entire life you are only beautiful for 10 years you need a shovel to dig some deepness!

No, she'd be confident, a good mother, and willing to set arbitrary stndards. It doesn't have any effect on physical beauty, but I get the sentiment.
First let me say that I think Jessica Alba is attractive, but she's not drop-dead gorgeous. We, 'the public' need to stop putting these people on pedestals and learn to be comfortable in our own skin. I also thought she was super-skinny before she had her baby–why want to go back to that? If she's celebrating being a woman than shouldn't she know that we ladies love our curves? Especially post-babies?
