Depp deals with Disney, Kristen Wiig gets animatedJohnny Depp already has plenty on his plate – the actor’s done a cameo in “21 Jump Street” and has “Dark Shadows” and “The Lone Ranger” in the works – but he’s making a little room for his production company to take on two more projects. According to Deadline, Depp’s Infinitum Nihil has worked out a deal with Disney for a feature based on the TV movie and series “Night Stalker” and another drama about Paul Revere. If you remember the show, you know that “Night Stalker” focused on journalist Carl Kolchak, who always seemed to come across creatures like vampires, zombies and werewolves in his investigations.
The Paul Revere flick would be focused on the 24-hour time frame during which he made his midnight ride from Charlestown to Lexington. Depp is reportedly being eyed as a potential lead in both. Meanwhile, you can get a Kristen Wiig fix later tonight on Cartoon Network, because the actress is lending her voice to Lola Bunny on the channel’s revamped “The Looney Tunes Show.” As New York Magazine’s Vulture reports, Wiig gives Lola Bunny a bit of stalkerish spin – check out the clip and you’ll see why (as well as her vocal talents). Wiig’s episode airs tonight on Cartoon Network at 8 p.m.
