While you were working...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • Apparently the title character from "Captain America" had some big shoes to fill - Chris Evans said he needed therapy before committing to the movie. (New York Times)

  • No more kids for Katie Holmes? The actress says in the new issue of InStyle that she's not stressed about giving Suri a sibling. (InStyle)

  • The "Harry Potter" stars fail epically at singing a line from Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A." No further description needed. (MTV)

  • As much as we love the idea of "Harry Potter's" Tom Felton switching from saying spells to spitting rhymes, E! Online reports that he isn't making a career change to become a rapper. (E!)

Depp deals with Disney, Kristen Wiig gets animated

Johnny Depp already has plenty on his plate – the actor’s done a cameo in “21 Jump Street” and has “Dark Shadows” and “The Lone Ranger” in the works – but he’s making a little room for his production company to take on two more projects.

According to Deadline, Depp’s Infinitum Nihil has worked out a deal with Disney for a feature based on the TV movie and series “Night Stalker” and another drama about Paul Revere.

If you remember the show, you know that “Night Stalker” focused on journalist Carl Kolchak, who always seemed to come across creatures like vampires, zombies and werewolves in his investigations.

Rupert Grint on kissing co-star Emma Watson: Yuck

Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger might have romantic feelings for one another, but the actors who play them certainly do not.

Rupert Grint and Emma Watson - who say they’ve developed a sibling-like relationship after working together for the past decade - weren’t looking forward to the time when their characters finally got together on the big screen.

The pair’s passionate kiss in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” out Friday, was awkward to film, and even more awkward to watch, Grint tells MTV.

Everyone’s a Critic: The problem with knowing too much

The news came out recently that “Terra Nova,” the new sci-fi series that’s set to premiere on Fox this fall, will only have a 13 episode season. This comes after plans to air the pilot back in May had to be scrapped.

The reason for the delay and shortened first season seems to be production issues, specifically that the show is REALLY expensive. Creating a CGI-dominated prehistoric world can do that.

It’s still entirely possible that “Terra Nova” will be a good show, but I’m not sure it can ever live up to expectations.

LiLo in 'Carrie' remake? Sissy Spacek can see it

Stephen King has already remarked that he thinks it would be "fun" to cast Lindsay Lohan as the lead in a remake of "Carrie," and now original “Carrie” star Sissy Spacek says that she’s not opposed to it either.

"I read about it and I was very flattered because they ran a picture of me and of Lindsay Lohan," Spacek told NextMovie over the weekend while promoting her movie “The Help.”

"I was like, 'Oh my God, she's really a beautiful girl' and so I was very flattered,” she goes on. “I was also flattered that they were casting someone to look like me instead of the real Carrie described in the book. It's gonna be real interesting."

SJP's movie made her so nervous she couldn't eat

Sarah Jessica Parker could afford to hire round-the-clock help – the 46-year-old actress ranked at the top of Forbes’ list of highly paid actresses along with Angelina Jolie - but the mom of three, who does employ a nanny for her twins, tells Vogue that she’d rather do most of the childcare herself.

“We don’t have any live-in help. We’re pretty hands on parents,” she says of herself and husband Matthew Broderick, who are parents to toddlers Loretta and Tabitha as well as 8-year-old James Wilkie. “That’s something that’s important to both of us, and we don’t shirk it, because what’s the point in having a family if you’re not going to really participate in it, you know?”

As a result, Parker says she can completely relate to the juggling act her character does in September’s “I Don’t Know How She Does It,” about finance exec Kate Reddy who tries to balance work, her two kids and her marriage.
