Rebecca Black is back with a 'Moment'Rebecca Black’s got a new single coming, and no, it has nothing to do with a day of the week. The 14-year-old – whose name became inescapable after she starred in the music video for the song the Internet loved to hate – will drop a new track called “My Moment” on July 18 at 8:00 p.m. on her YouTube channel and website, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Brandon "Blue" Hamilton (who penned a track on Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never: The Remixes") and Quinton Tolbert wrote the song, about the teen's rapid climb to stardom. The music video for "My Moment" will show Black getting an award at her junior high school and hitting red carpet events. As a statement puts it, "It's a fairytale story, but it happened in real life." If you like what you hear, the song will be available on iTunes and e-retailers the following day. “My Moment” is just the warm-up for Black – she's also set to self-release a five-track EP in August, bypassing signing with a label. |

Go die Rebecca Black. You're voice haunted me for weeks. NOT IN THE GOOD WAY!
You would think that her label would at least get her teeth whitened. She is too young to have yellow teeth
What? I loved "Friday"!!!!!
Why. Seriously. Why.
I think I'll just blow my ear drums out now before I have to hear this catastrophe on the radio. I had no idea who she was, until my sister told me to youtube her "friday" song. I turned it off in 5 seconds after hearing her voice. NO TALENT whatsoever.
PLEASE, Make it stop. I am so sick of people who have no talent getting into the music business.
Please, people, pay attention ! don't go blast her video in youtube, it will only give her a bigger audience and a lot of views, we need to make her disappear ! she has absolutely no talent and doesn't deserve attention.
Really? Begging people to help make her disappear? Get a life, hon. I can make her disappear from my life real quick, and so can you: 1) turn off the TV; 2) quit reading articles about her; 3) See that little "x" at the upper right of your screen? Click it when you see her name.
Her fame will only last "a moment"
"It is the ability for an artist to have total freedom of creativity as well as expressing said creativity without the restraint or influence of others either monetarily or artistically" Ahem. Little definition for you.
If she did sign she could take the chance of getting a bad contract that doesn't allow artists creativity, nor watch for things not in their benefit. All major labels are out for $$ not the artist. Musicians should have rights to what they create written or vocally. Wouldn't you say that's giving rights musically you halfwit?
@mad- That's what I think too. Good for her goin' the without major backing and avoiding having musical rights taken.
what musical rights? other people write her songs for her
She had her moment with her first song.
Move along, people.
Nothing to hear, here.

Only 14? I'll wait a few years to comment.
She'll be doing p0rn when she hits 18.
Good for her ditching the labels, eff those wånkers and their thievery.
That nose smells a hit though....a platinum hit baby
She needs a nose job.
Cool. So the song will come out on Monday, Monday...gotta get down on Monday...fun, fun, fun, fun....
God, you people are shallow. I need to go fix my make-up now.
There's something about her teeth that I don't like.
They look like they havnt been brushed in a long, long time!
The "something" would be that they are grossly yellow.
HAAHHA hopefully this one has better lyrics.
What ever happened to talented people being in the entertainment industry?
It began declining in the 1980s with MTV music videos. These demonstrated that looks can prevail over actual talent. Prior to music videos, bands had to rely on their sound and songwriting skills because radio and live shows was all that they had, spare a few variety show appearances. Then it got worse in the late 1990s when boy bands became popular. The "get by on your looks" angle was taken a step further when people began manufacturing these groups for the sole purpose of money making. Now bands/acts, by and large, are not stars because of hard work and doing time in local bars. They are systematically produced through the likes of American Idol, Youtube, etc.
she has a freakishly long middle finger!
hahahaha – she flips off people everyday
Good for her ! She is a fairly cute girl.
