Jennifer Aniston still talking about that 'Break-Up'Jennifer Aniston’s performance in the movie “The Break-Up” was a heartfelt one: The actress says on “Inside the Actors Studio” that she drew from her real-life split from Brad Pitt for the role. The 2006 movie, co-starring Vince Vaughn, “was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up,” Aniston tells the Bravo show’s host, James Lipton. “And I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue, and I honestly felt like, what a great way to exorcise some of that.” If anything, she adds, her personal break-up made her job easier.
“I enjoyed it,” she says. “You would think otherwise, because producers were like, ‘I don’t know if we should ask you to do this,’ and I was like, why not? Turn the page. Let's move on.” But as successful as “The Break-Up” was, it sounds like it might pale in comparison to Aniston’s longstanding role on “Friends." Thinking back to the final episode, she says that the cast “just wept, cried our eyes out.” The show, she adds, “is one of the greatest jobs I ever had. It gave me everything. It gave me this ridiculously blessed life and career, and it’s taught me so much. It was the best time I ever had.”

"friends" a show set in new york where there was only one black, asian or latino person on the show, how realistic. yeah, be real proud of your racist show...
Why is she on the 'Actors Studio'? Her acting skills are limited. And not even that good. All of her movies/characters are basically the same.
She really hasn't moved on. The movie roles are the same. She has one boyfriend after the other. No stability in her life.
Jen is hot as hell.. I would love to just to take a shower with her.. maybe rub up against her a little.

She must be so tired of these questions about past relationships from which she has moved on.....yet she patiently answers them when they come up again and again...and again.
What a sad woman. Lonely, selfish and self absorbed is all I think of whenever I see her, no wonder she's incapable of finding a mate (and she tries sooo hard, I've seen her with everybody!) She's so desperate that she frightens everyone away, so needy !!!! Plus add to this she was never a big talent to begin with and has never really had a good movie. Guess "friends" would be the best she's done and that's sad.... she should just accept the fact that when she was married, all she cared about was "her" career and didn't want the family her husband ached for (and we know how that turned out) and then she painted herself as "the poor victim". She should just move on and accept the truth, then maybe (big maybe... still no big career or prospects, still single and much older) she could grow enough to be able to become part of a couple.

CNN "recommends" this? Every recent story I've seen about Jennifer Anniston keeps focusing on others asking her about Brad Pitt. From what I gather, including in this story, she never even mentions him unless asked. And she is well-known for her philanthropy. I've not met her, so I have no idea what her personality is really like, but none of the stories I've seen really let her show it. The media has an obsession with her break-up, not her.

An over the hill actress bemoans getting broken up with like 20 years ago and CNN indulges obsessive types everywhere. Someone give these people an award.
Anistons career has been one mistake after another, poor performances, limited acting ability. Why would her life be any different? We all live under self-engineered misconceptions, hers is that she matters to anyone.
She seems so real and humble.
Instead of break up movies..how about:
1. Movies that tell a story about happy endings.
2. No more stupid movies of break ups, disasters, beheadings, and mayhem.
3. No more movies that bore you to tears and waste your day.
4. Movies with a real story to them.
Stop talking forever about the past. Let it go. Who cares. Let's move on to more important things...
Unemployment, high azz gas prices, the economy that's in the toilet, all the jobs overseas and no steel industry or car factories in this country.

If Jen woulda had kids, SHE would still be with Brad! Brad wanted kids and to settle down.... but noooooo Ms. Thang wasn't ready for kids (still living the Friends dream) and Angelina SAID HOW MANY DO YOU WANT AND I WILL GET YOU ANY FLAVOR YOU WANT!!! Ms. Thang could have gave him kids...she could have paid somebody to do it and not mess her figure up. See what being selfish cost her...one fine a$$ man!
So what I stole Brad. Jen needs to get over it. Sometimes Brad wishes he is still living the childfree life but he's not so ha ha Brad and if Jen wants him back she can have him and take a couple of the rugrats with him as they aren't so cute anymore!
There is nothing wrong with her talking about her break up when she is discussing a past movie that was about a break up. Also, she is constatnly being compared to Angelina because of her break up..Every magazine article is a picture and story of Angelina or Brad then the next picture and article will be about Jennifer. It has to be annoying to have your private life out in the world like that especially after your husband had an affair and it is years later. The media has ever let it die it's not Jennifer's fault.

How many years ago was this a non-story, and some CNN summer intern is still on the topic. Is it possible Ms. Aniston did something in her life other than the monkey dance with Brad Pitt. I hear she has a new movie out today. I wonder what that's all about. I'm betting Brad Pitt isn't even in it. But we will never know because the CNN Entertainment Marquee Blog has no story concerning that subject. It there an editor in the house?
For all the hateful people that post hateful statements, take all that powerful energy and put it to good use to make a positive impact and help the less fortunate. It makes you feel good and more grown up.

The fact of the matter is, had he been happy at home, he would not have hooked up with Angie. He was looking, flirting. Had it not been Angie. It would have been someone else. Another article said she is taking a hiatus to work on her self. I'm sure she means that literally. Time away from the cameras for a few nip tucks to heal. I don't think she wants kids, just dogs. I do believe she will find another husband some day.

I will say that I like Jen; to me the movies I've seen her in; she played the character very well. Also, the last time I checked, and I could be mistaken, but I believe her and Brad has since reconciled. no their not the best of friends, that ship sailed, but there is no anger nor animosity between the two. So why are there some people on this comment board so upset? And besides it has been stated time and time again that Brad wanted children yet Jen did not. Was it right to start making moves before the divorce papers were even drawn up? Yes but it look like Brad had pretty much made up his mind long before Angie came into the picture. People keep making Angie out to be the bad person but like the old saying goes, "it takes two". Maybe she started the fling which soon turned into a relationship, we don't know for sure, but Brad surely didn't have a problem with it . As far as we can clearly see he liked it and it was a HUGE plus that she was already starting her own family. As for Jen almost every other interview she does they ask about that whole ordeal and she does her best to answer without staying to long on the topic. But to say that she is still dwelling on it, i think, is far from the truth. I mean it's been 6 or more years, Brad went on; had two and adobted like 6 kids with Angie. To me all parties involved are all chilling and just counting their millions that they bring in every week/month. Just my opinion.

The reporter of this story is both deceptive and trashy, misrepresenting the classy Jennifer Aniston's words. She wasn't talking about her divorce but instead responding to a specific question about a movie role.
She is with an amazing man now. It's true what they say: everything happens for a reason. LOVELOVELOVE Justin Theroux. Go get him Jen! You two will make beautiful children together. xx

Jennifer Aniston is beautiful but despite her beauty and all her money, she really has no life. That is sad. In interviews she has nothing to talk about except the fictional characters in her films. She doesn't give any time to charities or causes. She has no family. She has a lot of past issues she can't seem to get over, and has a narcisstic personality. Beauty means nothing when you are empty and shallow inside.

This was an interview for Inside the Actors Studio. It's SUPPOSED to be about her characters and career. She supports Habitat for Humanity, St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, GLAAD, Feeding America, Project ALS, and many more. Do your homework before making assumptions. It's so easy to hide behind anonymity and ignorance.
Get your facts straight, Rose, before you run off at the mouth. She DOES donate to charities and gives of her time. She just doesn't drag a whole bus/plane load of reporters with her. And before you claim she has to be PAID to do the clips for the charities – check your facts since you didn't the last time you commented. For starters, you can start with Marlo Thomas. Jen, Brad and Angie have all moved on a long time ago – so should everyone else.
How do you come off saying she has no family – Do you personally know her? and BTW – Her father is a soap star of 20+ years – John Aniston – and yes he is still alive and well.

And for the love of God Jennifer . . . move on and stop talking about Brad. He left you for another woman. And he also stated that he fell in love with Angelina the moment he saw her. And, Angelina has also stated that she seduced Brad, knowing he was married. Either way, it's not like she just brings it up in every interview. It was a big breakup of a big Hollywood couple, so she always gets asked about it, even after 6 years. Get over yourselves! She is still talking about a really crappy movie she made with the guy she was "dating" at the time, who has since moved on. Obviously she had to say something because her performance in "The Break-Up" was panned. I guess "heartfelt emotion" is not as good as actual talent. Plus, Angelina was named a top earner among women actresses so Jennifer had to do something to get into the spotlight. GET OVER HIM!! He is NOT coming back, no matter how much you whine.
