Maybe someday George will care enough about someone to put their needs ahead of his own. Right now, if a girl tries to make George settle down and be a family man he just moves on to another young woman who hasn't heard her biological clock ticking yet. Maybe he should date much younger girls or much older ones.

Um, I wanna be on your side... but just cant bring myself to do it.... therefore I will refer to you as dUm. These girls receive plenty of perks... trust me(use of the italian villa...hmm). George explained in an interview he didn't really mean the comment when he said he'd never get married again and now that's all anyone knows about him. Most women want to date him, he's hot, life goes on. Maybe he will eventually find someone and it works out for longer. He seems like a nice guy.

Clooney is not a mature person jet so it is very wisely for him not to get married. If he does it now it will not work. Men like him can start thinking about getting married after 55 or 60 years old. You've got this EXACTLY correct! This list reflects the only real meaningful chance he has for a long-term relationship. Maybe the next one will hit some, if not all the points on your list....let's hope so. Everyone deserves to be happy.

no, nobody has to get married. but george seems like a solid guy with solid values, so probably many of us assume that he wants to or should be married. his parents certainly set him a good example.
i also wonder if he's gay, but in this day and time there would be absolutely no reason to hide that, so i don't think that he's gay. some guys just don't want to get married (again).
to me, the ending of all these relationships within about 2-3 years encourages me to speculate that these woman are doing what SO many women are doing. "sure, guy, i get it: you don't want to get married. i don't want to get married either, because [parrot's guy's reason for not wedding]! let's just be together. Remember last month she said "I will be married?" Nail in the coffin. He'll be moving on to the next model now, and I mean model. There is no law saying George Clooney has to get married. He can be the biggest man-ho going if he so chooses, it's his life. And any lady that gets involved with him is foolish if she doesn't get the fact that he's not the marrying kind. He is not obligated to be into marriage. Maybe he knows himself, is true to himself, and doesn't want to be divorced every few years when his relationships fizzle. As for needing help, George Clooney is rich, famous, and successful, it looks like he's doing okay.
Clooney was married once before. Divorced and then declared that he'd never do it again. Had a pet pig for years rather than relationships. Perhaps he really intends to stay single for the duration or at least until he finds a woman who doesn't mention marriage until he does.

Just to set the record straight, i did use the phrase marriage of the heart. As far as the happily unmarried part, i was referring to both the legal and churchs definitions of marriage. I thought people would get that without me having to explain it. I was mistaken and apologize for not having been more clear in my meaning.
After seven consecutive years together, your relationship with your lady became a common law marriage, for all intents and purposes in the legal sense. If you part ways, you can sue each other, just like you were married "for real."

I was married once. Took ten years and two kids to realize marriage just wasnt for me. I found a girlfriend who had been married before and also had kids, and who shares my view. We are happy together without the trappings of marriage. We are firmly commited to one another. We came up with our own description. Its called a marriage of the heart. Somebody else has already used that before us, but neither of us had heard it before. I guess i am like gene simmons, happily unmarried!

Warren Beatty was a bachelor until he was 55 and noone called him gay! Just because someone doesn't want to get married, it doesn't make them gay! (not that I have anything against being gay). It just makes them afraid of commitment....
I do think he uses the women more than they use him because he takes up their young and vital years, then drops them after one or two years to prey on the next one. That, to me, suggests a compulsion because it's been that way for decades! He's getting to be the age where this kind of behavior is simply "disgusting."
