Vanessa Minnillo to co-host 'Wipeout'That upcoming wedding to Nick Lachey isn't the only big project that Vanessa Minnillo has in the pipeline. The former MTV star and "Entertainment Tonight" correspondent has just been hired to co-host ABC's bump-and-bruise-filled game show "Wipeout." Minnillo will take over for former co-host Jill Wagner beginning in season 5, giving the play-by-play for both the winter and summer editions of "Wipeout." The popular series, hosted by John Henson and John Anderson, features 24 contestants competing on an extreme obstacle course, bouncing off the iconic Big Balls and getting banged up in the Wipeout Zone. “We will miss Jill, but are thrilled to welcome Vanessa to the team and excited to bring her enthusiasm to the show," says “Wipeout” creator and executive producer Matt Kunitz. When will Vaness actually become funny and energetic? We've watched a few episodes and so for, not so good...Jill was so much better, and we LOVE the Johns! Bring Jill back and watch ratings soar....if not, I'm afraid it's a 'wipe-out' for Wipe Out!

Vanessa is alright. But she will never matchup to Jill. I think ABC screwed up by letting Jill go.
Vanessa is horrible & no way near as pretty & funny as Jill. I never liked the two Johns either. Now the show as 3 unattractive idiots on the show.
Serious downgrade Lache isnt horrible but nobody has the personality and spunk of miss wagner. We miss u alredy jill please come back to us!

Now that Jill is gone, I guess I'll be watching trueTV's "worlds dumbest".
It would have been better, to have gotten rid of the two Johns; and put Jill in the booth.

You failed to mention that Jill Wagner chose to leave to focus on her acting career. She made the announcement in April. Yes I think Vanessa will perform as well as Jill in this project. The focus is on the contestants.
