Selena Gomez hospitalized for illnessCNN has confirmed teen star Selena Gomez has been hospitalized, although the reason is currently unknown. According to TMZ, Gomez, 18, was rushed to the hospital following her appearance on "The Tonight Show" Thursday. The website, citing unnamed sources, says she was feeling “horrible” Thursday night both during and after the show. The Disney star was reportedly complaining of nausea and a severe headache. Her rep tells CNN, "Last night after Selena's appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ she wasn't feeling well and was taken to the hospital. She is currently undergoing routine tests."

Why is everybody jumping to say she is pregnant? I spent two days last week sick on my stomach with one of the worst headaches I've ever had and I can assure you I'm not pregnant. My best friend had the same thing a week ago and HE is not pregnant either.

Aresgirl, She seemed very with it and together when she was younger and then you know 5 years later I started noticing a different look in her eyes. I had a serious drug problem (serious to me anyway) from the time that I was 16 until my 24th birthday so I have some concept of what that could be like. I hope that I was wrong. I knew that some one might be upset about what I wrote. I am an extreemly stressed out woman. I am 36 years old and I have been in a dragged out custody battle over one of my boys for 6 years. My other son is five now...he will be 6 years old this summer. I nursed him for the first four years of his life. Much of the time while I was nursing him I was watching The Disney Channel (something child friendly) and her on Wizards of Waverly Place. We drunk her up like a tall glass of water on a hot day. He enjoys the show now and we still watch it just as much as he sleeps in my room with me still and I have a tv in my bedroom. We also watch it in the living room perhaps. Two or three months ago I noticed that something had changed with her and I began to worry about her, like maybe we were being selfish to enjoy her so much if something was wrong with her and us. I was aware that my perseption could be wrong and it was certainly not intended as anything hurtful.
I hope she's better

Actually, being pregnant at 18 isn't the "norm in todays fabulous culture." Based on your opinion but lack of knowledge, I can make the assumption you are a middle-aged, cranky adult who things all the children today are trash and are becoming pregnant younger than when you were a teen. However, it was actually common, for example, 50 years ago to become pregnant at around the young age of 17. Whereas today, people are starting to settle down and get jobs and marry at a much later today. But just because there are television shows showing teens pregnant does not mean the whole world is. To be honest it sounds like a severe migraine. I get them all the time and the first time i got one I was 12 and I was rushed to the hospital because it was so severe and we had no idea what was going on. But all the same symptons. Violent nausea/vomiting, and the worst headache you can imagine. Like beyond description painful.
