Coachella 2012: Two weekends, same festivalCoachella 2011 turned up the lights with Arcade Fire and hosted a memorable performance from a tearful Kanye West, but next year the festival is aiming even higher. In 2012, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will do double time, offering two events in Indio, California, two weekends in a row. As a statement puts it, "festival organizers will attempt to produce two identical festival weekends–same lineup, same art, same place,” but with “different people.” So if you miss out on the festival’s first weekend, April 13-15, then you can catch the same exact event the following weekend, April 20-22. Weekend passes will be on advance sale from 10 a.m. PT, Friday, June 3 until 10 p.m. PT on Friday, June 10, for the price of $269 plus fees per pass.

For $269 they ought to offer 2 w/es in a row. Jesus the ticket prices have gone thru the roof. I hope this line up is better than what they offered last year. Seeing Kanye West cry isnt what I call entertainment.
Actually, Coachella is the same price for the last six years. Not cheap, but a lot of entertainment.
