Now that our other fave TV shows have wrapped, your DVR should be free and clear for all of the new programming being ushered in for the summer months.
If you'd rather spend a few hours in a movie theater, this week also brings the premiere of "X-Men: First Class," starring James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and January Jones.
Here's what else you shouldn't miss this week:
Monday
- Tonight brings the premiere of a new season of "Basketball Wives" on VH1 at 8 p.m., followed by the new series "Single Ladies," starring Stacey Dash and LisaRaye McCoy at 9 p.m.
- Over on TLC at 9 p.m., the "Cake Boss" also returns.
- And then on Bravo at 10 p.m., Kara DioGuardi shows what making a chart-topper is all about with the reality competition "Platinum Hit."
Tuesday
- New music Tuesday brings you "Codes and Keys" from Death Cab for Cutie, "Unfinished" from Jordan Knight and "Circuital" from My Morning Jacket.
- "America's Got Talent" is also back on NBC tonight, with the season premiere starting at 9 p.m. ET.
- Catch up on your "True Blood" before the season 4 premiere with the release of season 3 on DVD today.
Wednesday
- If you miss "The Simple Life" or you're curious just how "real" Paris Hilton can get, her new reality show, "The World According to Paris," airs tonight on Oxygen at 10 p.m. ET.
- Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer star as two atypical L.A. lawyers on TNT's "Franklin & Bash," a more humorous take on the courtroom drama, which premieres tonight at 10 p.m.
Friday
- The anticipated "X-Men: First Class," which takes us back to the beginnings of the X-Men, has arrived! Who's planning to go see it?
Please no more "humorous takes" on the courtroom drama. None of them have really held a candle to Night Court.
