Now that our other fave TV shows have wrapped, your DVR should be free and clear for all of the new programming being ushered in for the summer months.

If you'd rather spend a few hours in a movie theater, this week also brings the premiere of "X-Men: First Class," starring James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and January Jones.

'My Little Pony' parodies Katy Perry

If you're not 7, there's a good chance that you are unaware of the latest "My Little Pony" re-boot - an animated series on the Hub network entitled "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic."

But if you grew up on the 80s, you probably remember the "My Little Pony & Friends" theme song lyrics: "My Little Pony, My Little Pony, what will today's adventure be... ."

Well hold your horses! Because the all-new herd of ponies has put together a music video parody of Katy Perry's "California Gurls" with original lyrics, and sung by the ponies themselves.
