Jane Seymour's 'sorry' about Schwarzenegger remarksActress Jane Seymour told CNN earlier this month that she wasn't at all surprised by the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger had a child with his family's housekeeper while married to Maria Shriver, and she's now apologizing for her comments. Seymour said at the red carpet premiere of her movie "Love Marriage Wedding" on May 17 that she believed "there will be lots of information coming people's way...I heard about two more [out of wedlock kids] somebody else knows about. I even met someone who knows him well." But on "The View" Friday, Seymour regretted her remarks. Amy Winehouse returns to rehab“Back to Black” singer Amy Winehouse is back in rehab, a rep for the Brit star confirmed. Winehouse “has embarked on a treatment program at the Priory Clinic," her rep tells CNN. A source close to the "Rehab" singer told People magazine that it was Winehouse's father who helped her seek treatment. 'Hangover 2' earns $31.7 million on opening dayThe holiday weekend is off to a good start for “The Hangover Part II" crew – the movie collected $31.7 million at the domestic box office on Thursday, according to the Hollywood Reporter. That total gives “Part II” the third best Thursday opening total of all time, THR reports, a title that comes on the heels of the movie having the highest midnight screening open for an R-rated film. "Hangover Part II's" midnight shows on May 26 brought in $10.4 million. It’s not jaw-dropping in comparison to movies like “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” which, as the Los Angeles Times points out, pulled in more than $30 million from post-midnight showings, but it is strong for an R-rated movie. For example, the R-rated sequel “Sex and the City 2” earned only $3 million from midnight openings around this time last year. ![]() Inside Elizabeth Taylor's $8.6 million Bel Air estateYou may not be able to afford Elizabeth Taylor's recently listed $8.6 million Bel Air home, but you can take a tour of the late legend's estate, thanks to the July issue of Architectural Digest. Photographed this spring, the four-bedroom, 7,000-square-foot house was purchased by Taylor in the 1980s and decorated by her close friend Waldo Fernandez. The walls, many awash in blues and lavenders to reflect her violet eyes, featured such artwork as Impressionist paintings, an Andy Warhol silkscreen of the actress and costume sketches from her 1968 film "Doctor Faustus." Sarah McLachlan: Divorce almost killed my careerDivorce is hard, but it was nearly career-ending for singer Sarah McLachlan. The "Angel" star told Spinner that "at one point she entered an emotional hole so horrid that she never expected to be able to make music again, let alone return to the stage." "Yeah, the marriage part didn't quite work out," she said. "Apparently that's a bit of an epidemic, so I just make light of it." Rihanna and Gaga: Head-to-head morning show concerts“Good Morning America” and the “Today” show took their a.m. rivalry to a new level on Friday as the morning programs offered head-to-head concerts of top pop talent. In one corner, there was Lady Gaga zip-lining onto “Good Morning America's” stage to kick off the show’s concert series, and in another corner, the “Today” show hosted Rihanna as the opener to their own summer concert series. Over on “GMA,” Gaga arrived in high-flying style, dressed at one moment in a sheer red jumpsuit and the next in a sheer black one. |
