Amy Winehouse returns to rehab“Back to Black” singer Amy Winehouse is back in rehab, a rep for the Brit star confirmed. Winehouse “has embarked on a treatment program at the Priory Clinic," her rep tells CNN. A source close to the "Rehab" singer told People magazine that it was Winehouse's father who helped her seek treatment. "Her dad sat her down and said 'I think you're drinking too much again.' So she agreed to [get] an assessment to stop it [from] becoming a bigger problem," the source said. But the friend adds that "She's determined, and this is all off her own back...It's just a lapse. There are ups and downs on the road, and there have been mostly ups recently. But this is a down and she's done the right thing and gone to rehab." The Grammy-winning singer has a history of battling drugs and alcohol, and previously entered a rehabilitation facility in January of 2008. Winehouse's rep tells CNN that “she wants to be ready for performances in Europe this summer and decided to seek an assessment. She will remain at the Priory on doctors' advice."

Extremely talented singer/writer but she has really let the chit go bad. This boy girl stuff she has been so hung up on all her young life (and subsequent addiction problems) is fleeting. She will always make self destructive choices in mates just like alcoholics do killing themselves slowly and getting a lot of attention along the way. Move on to the next stage in your life Amy. You've got tons of money to do it with and that's one less MAJOR problem than most.
Have u try hipnosis or accupunture. It works I hear. Rehabs are rest havens for addicts. They never work

Relapse is not part of recovery; it's part of the active disease. Recovery begins when a person truly surrenders and then begins to do the real recovery work.

No hope for idios who act like your any different from someone they love and judge you superficially when their souls are nasty ugly. some people live to hate too feel better about themselves and arent worth responding to...attention only gives them power...bad childhoods and in need of pity.

She was drinking "too much" again? If she was drinking at all she needed to go back to rehab. There is no such thing as a cured addict. If you are an addict and alcoholic you can't have just "a little". You are either on the wagon or off it. I'm glad her father was able to convince her to go back.
Addiction sucks. I am addicted to beer and I want to drink everyday. Its a horrible obsession I can't escape. I feel bad for her; I know what its like.

I think Amy is an amazing artist,and maybe her day to day problems are her "songs"..Addiction is a sad problem,and unless she is willing to call it quits for life she'll never quit the boozing and drugs. She will die like so many other fantastic artist did due to addiction. Once they're this deep into their addiction theirs no turning back only because the stress of their day to day life of an artist. It's sad but true!

Why is it celebs births,deaths and lives are always tragic nothing else like it. I watched several people die. . I know people with addictions. Their lives and deaths are nothing less then tragic.. The only difference between them and a celeb is they got their name in a rag magazine.. A drunk is a drunk and a junky is a junky. Death , birth and life is far from eary for anyone.every life means something to some one .
