Christine Taylor talks 'Zoolander' sequelBack in October, Marquee reported that a "Zoolander" sequel was in the works in which Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) would find themselves coping with life as aging supermodels. So when can we expect to see the Blue Steel back on screen? "They're really trying to make it happen and get everybody on board for it," Stiller's wife, actress Christine Taylor tells Vulture. "I feel like nobody wants to make it more than Ben, so he's driven. I hope it happens." Taylor, who played Zoolander's love interest, journalist Matilda Jeffries, also hints that she may return for a second round. "I can't really say much about whether I'll be in it because I am sworn to secrecy on the script," she says. "There might be a pivotal role for Matilda or she might just be MIA. I don't know." Are you looking forward to the "Zoolander" sequel? Tell us in a comment below. |

"You should listen to your friend Billy Zane. He's a cool dude."
I think I have the black lung pop.... Cough...
Only if Alexander Skarsgard is in it.... He is DELICIOUS!!!!!
It was a little funny but warranting a sequel ? No.
This movie will have to go a LONG, LONG way to do better than the first one to get me into the theatres, after all, the subject matter is supermodels ?
Anyway, I liked the Mugatu bit, that was great stuff, thou.
Very yes. Zoolander is one of the most hilarious movies ever. Of course, so was Dumb and Dumber, and we all know how those sequels turned out. O wait, we don't, cuz no one watched them.
Zoolander was an incredibly funny movie! I had no interest in it when it came out, but I caught it by accident on a plane flight and wound up laughing my head off. An underrated classic full of some great stuff by everyone involved. Loved the cameo by David Duchovny, and the lines are priceless. "Koff... koff... I think I'm getting the Black Lung, Pop." Hee hee hee!
Ben Stiller is a talentless douchbagHeeb.
This is completely uncalled for
The files are IN the computer. Oo oo ah oo ah.
Hansel is so hot right now
Loved the first one, but, its been too long – I say no.
My boyfriend will probably see it if and when it hits the dollar theater. we both loved the first one. the second could be pretty funny. or at least $2 worth of funny.
Whats an Egugaly? I am not sure a sequel of this movie will go over well. While the 1st was pretty funny, to me it seems like a one timer. In the same way a Mystery Men sequel would not be good...
I think it was a hilarious movie, but I'll have to see it by myself. My wife hates it. I would like to see another cameo by David Duchovny.
Zoolander was awesome! There were some awesome quotes in that movie. If you don't think so, you can Derilict my balls! If you get mad at me, you have to Relax.
As long as there's a reprise of Mugatu's role as well as orange mocha frappucino's, i'm in
Oh I'm sorry, DID MY NEEDLE GET IN THE WAY OF YOUR A**?!?!? Go lose 5 pounds immediately!
Underated movie in my opinion...but then again, I did'nt pay money to see it in the theater so my expectations were not that great.
...and I agree Christine Taylor is very hot...
Wooooooo She was Marsha Brady on the remakes. Wouldnt that be incredible to be married to a Brady Bunch girl ?
That movie was the worst! I don't think they should do a sequel, they probably spend more money making it than actually making money of it....
Christine Taylor is very hot.
With that said, I am not sure how this movie could outdo the first one. That's the risk you run.
All i can say about her is Marsha Marsha Marsha, because besides being in Zoolander i still see her as Marsha Brady
zoolander sucks. it was a waste of my money at the movie theater. definately will not go watch or even rent this movie when it comes out.
