'Showbiz Tonight' Flashpoint: Should we feel sorry for the family of Arnold's mistress?Mildred Baena – the woman Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly had an affair and a child with – has been thrown into the spotlight, and the media have not been going easy on her, the child or her family. While I have no sympathy for his alleged mistress, I absolutely feel sorry for her family. What a terrible situation she has created for the people around her. So what do you think? Should we feel sorry for the mistress’s family? Tell me below…
And wow! How about that “American Idol”? Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery have been voted into the finals. But today, there’s big new controversy – should Haley Reinhart have made it? I was actually surprised by this. Lauren is obviously very talented but I really expected Haley to wind up in the finals. Now the media making money and make other people more sympathy for Maria and hatter for Arnold and Patty.
Very sad for all involved especially the children.
I'm so, so sorry for Maria and her kids and that betrayal that they have suffered to be in the house with a woman and a man who have NO respect for them. I am equally sorry for his "love child" because this child who had NO parts of his being born........is going to suffer the consequences of the selfish and horrific decisions that his parents have made. He is going to be mobbed by the press, he is going to be riduculed, he is going to not be accepted by his siblings (at least for a while) and is going to be the outcast through NO fault of his. Too bad Arnold wasn't thinking with his upper head!!!!
i think you should be fired as a reporter how the hell is this a blog post its more like a freaking crappy CNN POLL that means nothing much like everything cnn says and does. I love reading Cnn reports were they state CNN couldnt confirm cnn couldnt confirm so the story must be a lie if the all mighty cnn can't get access boo who.

Quite likely Arnold went public about his child with the hope that there can be counseling and reconciliation. I think it will be wise for Maria and also for their children to reconcile and accept Arnold's step child. It'll be sad for there to be an ugly publicised breakup as it seems to be happening now.
Shame on Arnold and the maid. They deserve a tough consequence whatever it will be. They will be the ultimate losers. Maria and their children, stay strong.
i think the young joseph is the one to be worried about. hopefully he'll get enough protection. on the other hand he's now more likely to get his piece of the schwarzenegger cake/money. and he deserves it.
King David fathered a child with Bathsheba... God punished both of them with the suffering of their children. Solomon and any others King David and Bathsheba bore together all died horrible deaths. Such is the same with today's children. We suffer for the sins of our parents. These children will join us in that suffering. It is very sad.
ScornedChild, that is not in the Bible. King David did have an affair with Bathsheba & killed her husband once she got pregnant. He married her, but the child died as a result of God's judgement. David repented & God blessed them with Solomon (sending a word that HE loved Solomon greatly). David and Bathsheba went on to have 6 or 7 more children, none of whom died! Solomon, was King after David, reigned for 40 years and has gone down in History as one of Israel's greatest Kings. 2Kings Chapters 11 & 12.

NO....NO There is no reason to feel sorry for the family of Patti, or Patti herself. She was paid very well. On top of her outrageously large salary as a maid, she received at least $65,000 toward her house. In addition to bonus payments for extra "services". Patti is an adult. Patti knew what she was doing was wrong. It is adultery. Maria also treated her well during her 20 years in Maria and Arnold's home So Patti is also a hypocrite. Patti wore Maria's clothes, "borrowed" her jewelry, and used Maria's bed while it was still warm from Maria sleeping in it with her husband. If Patti was offended by Arnold's advances she would have quit, if Arnold was forcing himself on her she should have had him arrested or sued him. If her 13 year old son has been shocked and harmed by the revelations that have appeared in the media, she has only herself to blame. The bulk of the blame goes to Arnold and Patti. Both of them are equal opportunity adulterers. What about the pain and suffering Arnold's legitimate children and his real wife feel? Patti and Arnold need to grow up and realize that having children isn't just copulation. If intercourse results in pregnancy, you have choices. If your choice is to have the child, you have a responsibility to set a decent example for them. Perhaps Patti is hiding in public, right down the street on the corner waiting for her next "opportunity". Arnold has been out and about and it seems, without his paramour. Has "old" Patti been left behind? Will her next "opportunity" pay as well? Will the next place we see her be on "Cops"? Has anyone considered Patti's ex husband and Arnold's still current wife– STDs anyone? DNA tests...better call Maury!

i feel bad for the kids and Maria as well. i guess he didn't care about them as much as you'd think a husband and father would.
When rumors begin the fly about his womanizing after he was elected governor, Maria went on the Oprah Winfrey show and defended him. Saying, "I've know this man for 26 years he'd never mistreat a woman or have an affair, etc.,". How insulting for him to have this woman living under the same roof with his wife and children. And, he claims to love her. Oh, and his "concerns" for his children and how is actions have effected them is rich. The only thing that concerns him is he got caught. I applaud her for leaving him. It sends a strong message to her daughters. You can still love a man, divorce him and refuse to be his doormat.
I feel no sympathy for anyone...Hey we are all human we make mistakes and life goes on. All the kids of all parties will survive.

What proof is there that the boy's father is Arnold? The boy looks likes his mother except for the blonde hair. She was married to Rogelio and registered him as his son. We have not seen any pictures of Rogelio. However I saw some resemblance to Rogelio's brother on tv. So the public needs to see the results of a paternity test to confirm or dismiss the accusation.
I think Peace is wonderful and beautiful and an angel. Please dont be mean to her or BV or Superhiro. They are wonderful and precious and wonderful too. Please be nice to themand give them happy hugs.
This is so weird. There Arnold is married to a stunning beauty and he's off in the kitchen with a very homely woman. Reminds me of Prince Charles forsaking his stunning Diana for the very plain Camilla. These guys don't appreciate the beauties they have.
Arnold and his mistress asked for this. Their spouses and kids did nothing wrong but get harassed by the media. I feel bad for them all but especially for the kids involved.

No, I don't feel sorry for Arnold or the housekeeper! I only feel sorry for the kids and Maria. All the kids have to be disgraced because of two selfish people. It makes me sick to think of what else Arnold has engaged in and what else Maria may have to face. My question is what kept the housekeeper's x-husband from spilling the beans. There must have been hush money that most likely ran out.

America rarely if ever gets it right in American Idol. Look at the track record for the winners. Only two or three actually have great careers, the others have just faded away.

I feel sorry for the kid who has a mother that would know a man has a wife and is tramp enuff to still sleep with him! Then, of course she gets him to help buy her a house and gets to retire at 50. This woman should of had more self respect and dignity than Arnold because most men weren't born with any. So now she gets to pay the piper and it will cost only her son which is a dam shame!
I feel its nothing to feel sorry about except the kid and of course his wife who must be feeling dejected. This a story of every other American nowadays that they have kids and they do not about the parents especially fathers.

Can we STOP with the phrase "illegitimate child" All children are legitimate. Feel sympathy for "the child" and the children that we know of and any others who we find out about. Part of being American is understanding that the actions of the parents are NOT the responsibility of the child.
