'Big Bang Theory': Moving in, breaking up and a one night stand

Leonard and Sheldon have drifted further and further apart all season, to the point where Sheldon finally got a new roommate in Raj on Thursday night's season finale of "The Big Bang Theory."

Of course, Raj had to go through a long, arduous process to even become a temporary roommate, including involuntary blood work. "Not important" how that happened, Sheldon said.

As for Leonard's relationship with Priya, it crashed and burned, as anyone could have predicted, especially once her parents inadvertently broke the news to him that she was moving back to India.

Things also went sour for Howard and (soon-to-be-doctor) Bernadette after his jealousy over her success came to the surface after she bought him a nice watch: ""I just want my baby to have pretty things."

Things are more or less the same for another couple, though. Amy and Sheldon are still as platonic as ever, though she did teach him how to massage his own back. "My hands are magic!" Sheldon exclaimed.

"I could just as easily have paralyzed you," warned Amy.

None of that was anywhere near as surprising as a hung over Raj and Penny finding themselves in Leonard's old bed together (though I saw it coming as soon as the alcohol started flowing). After Raj nodded at Penny's suggestion that they keep this on the downlow, she responded, "Really? Still can't talk to me?"

The secret was short-lived however, when Sheldon, Howard, and yes, Leonard saw the pair emerge from the bedroom. Sheldon, of course, still didn't get what had happened.

A great finale after a season that had its ups and downs. I gotta wonder where things will go with the group next year. Aside from Penny, Raj still has that crush on Bernadette.

I liked the season finale, although I agree that the Raj + Penny situation just didn't fit. I'm glad Pria is leaving, I never really liked her character. Hopefully we see Penny and Leonard get back together at some point next season, and I look forward to seeing more of the "Shamy"

Its funny. I find the penny character to remind me of early rachel green from friends. Same sort of intellect, wit and perkiness.

This was the first year that I have watched a whole season. I must credit the "New Time Same Theory" commercials run over and over again during big brother. I love this show and am watching seasons 1-3 this summer. Priya was the one character I did not like as I found her devisive and the cast as such great chemistry. Hope she never returns!

I am female and straight but agree that Kaley is a bright talent and I hope she soars. She won me over when I heard she was a down to earth horse lover. In any case I hope she gets more movie roles and future series.

The show is cute and corny and Sheldon is a master. I have seen Jim on talk shows and unlike most sit com actors he is as ON on a talk show as he is on the series. I love him!

So Lumber Jack, do you cut down trees, skip and jump and like to press wild flowers? Do put on women's clothing and hang around in bars?
