Gwyneth Paltrow: I'm not starting a food magazineWith a full plate that includes raising a family, making movies, guest-starring on "Glee," authoring a lifestyle blog and promoting a new cookbook, it's no surprise that Gwyneth Paltrow has put any plans to launch a food magazine on the back burner. "It could not be further from the truth," she tells Bon Appétit's June issue of the rumored project. "I literally do not have time to bathe let alone start a magazine." So much so that she has published her favorite family recipes in "My Father's Daughter," a cookbook that celebrates the pleasure of enjoying food with loved ones—a passion she learned from dad Bruce Paltrow. The actress's recipes are simple to prepare and each comes with a story about what makes it special. Gwyneth Paltrow's recipes in Bon Appétit "It's how I think as a cook," she says of the book. "I wouldn't say I'm a very original thinker, but if I have a good experience with something, I'll want to take it further or adapt it in some way. I'm not going to be doing molecular gastronomy; I'm a wife and a mom and a home cook." |
