'CSI' actress: Justin Bieber was a 'brat'One person who doesn't have Bieber Fever? Actress Marg Helgenberger, who says the teen idol behaved like a "brat" during his guest stint on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." During a recent radio interview with Europe 1, Helgenberger was asked what it was like working with Bieber, who played bad boy Jason McCann in two episodes of the popular CBS series. “I shouldn't be saying this, but he was kind of a brat," she said. "He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast's table." As for whether Bieber was a good actor, Helgenberger replied diplomatically, "Justin Bieber wasn't bad. But he'd never acted before… He's better than you'd think.” Hollywood certainly seems to agree. Both Ashton Kutcher and Mark Wahlberg have plans to co-star with the Bieb in upcoming movies. |

You know, I didn't know Bieber till maybe a month ago, but I was surprised to find that he comes from a broken home, him and his single mom struggled, and he taught himself to play several instruments on his own(as they couldn't afford lessons). after finding that out, i was pretty touched and had a lil more respect for him.

They had a video on Youtube catching him in the act, but it was pulled by the "copyright holder." However, there have been a lot of people who have seen the video before it was pulled.
This is what happens when you don't discipline your kids, and let them run loose in society. Kids that think its all fair game in any environment, even professional, are also the type that won't be afraid to tease or bully someone else. Ever notice how the kids that bully others at schools also are the ones pulling pranks and dunking kids in trash cans or putting super glue on chairs? Perhaps we should take a page from the discipline the Asian mother used in that article CNN had a few months ago.
His own response to the incident on Twitter just goes to show the level of his maturity. And unfortunately, kids idolize his type of behavior these days.
@Square, who are you to say that immaturity is the norm for 15 year olds? Everyone I knew were pretty mature and responsible at 15 (and Bieber is actually 17). Granted, we all knew how to have fun, but not at the expense of others (i.e. pulling pranks on producers, smashing others' cakes, etc.). Just because you were wild at 15 doesn't mean everyone else was, and that it's perfectly harmless. Not to mention, being a screenwriter, do you know how much money it costs to pay actors/actresses and staff members to remain on set for just an hour? Locking a producer in a closet wastes expensive time. Of course, he's got so much money and ego now he probably doesn't care what other people think. Even worse is not letting them realize that their behavior needs to change, as in many cases, this leads to self-centered individuals.
But then again, let's not conclude it here. Just wait till he gets older and we'll see soon enough.

Once his nuts finally drop, his singing days are over. He can't act, as it is. I saw parts of his CSI episode. My grandmother can do a more convincing act than he can...and she's dead. Don't worry. 'Biever Fever' won't last forever. Hannah Montana already fizzled out. It's only a matter of time before his fame is over, and then he can run back home, crying to mommy and daddy. Justin Bieber made a visit to the Navy Exchange Oceana, Virginia Beach Virginia earlier this year. He was supposed to take pictures and autographs for roughly a couple hours. He instead did ten min and looked like it was painful to take pictures with the military service members and their families. He then left to the restroom and snuck out the store with his manager and left the exchange without telling anyone. This is the kind of thanks people in Hollywood give the men and woman of the armed forces who serve this country while they make movies etc.

There are TONS of stories about his nasty, selfish, spoiled, arrogant behavior – and no one should give him another dime, but please know there are literally HUNDREDS of talented actors and entertainers who spend loads of time saying hello to the military at USO rallies and such, plus there are charities that get Hollywood stars to come. This bratty arrogant kid is more the exception than the rule.

Wow, there are a lot of haters on this list. I saw his movie. He did act like a spoiled brat but when everyone around you is telling you that you're are the best thing since toilet paper and letting him get away with stuff like slapping someone in the face like it's a joke, what do we expect. He'll get it with time, and yes you make not like him but he does have talent and determination. Not many kids would work as hard as he has to get where he is. He deserves some respect for that.
Having taught a lot of gifted 14-15 year old kids, I would have never gotten through my career if I expected them to behave like adults at all times. The gifted who excel tend to have both a conceited side and a self-doubt side and it's often the self-doubt side that makes them act strangely.
I've taught, in science, our high school's best singers , athletes, actors and artists, some of whom went on to some fame including Toni Braxton. I've had the lead actor in "Damn Yankees" complain to me that he should be allowed to go first, and ALONE, to take his bow after each performance (the girl who played "Lola" went on to local fame after high school!).
But – and HERE'S THE POINT – he and most of these kids were good kids, kids I'd have been proud to be the parent of in terms of overall behavior, but they were young teenagers. You know, the ones Bill Cosby called "Brain Damaged!"

I was just at school and someone was here so i decided to enjoy myself a little and intervene. The sad thing is that you actually pay attention to one person that none of you even know to and listen to all of the gossip and rumors. Have you heard about some of the pranks that George Clooney has pulled? He's notorious. It sounded like Ms. Helgenberger was using the term "brat" affectionately. How long was the producer in the closet...a minute or two? The cake incident is so tame it doesn't deserve a mention. Professionals who have worked with him say he is a polite young man. I don't fit his demographics, so his music doesn't appeal to me; however, I'm glad the tweens have someone to have a crush on just as I did. I've never understood why adults say nasty things about someone whose music is clearly not meant for them.

He should be in his best behaviour in public, not only because he's a role model for some kids (even if that makes me sick), but because there are true kids (younger than 12) that ARE professionals: not mature, but with good manners.

I don't care for his singing and I find his fans ridiculous; especially the middle aged women. I was that ridiculous about the Beatles. I find it sad that so many people on the edge of has-beens, gangsta rap types, and actors are using him to refresh their careers. I have found some sympathy for him in the fact that so many people bad mouth him for being spoiled and having it easy. He is from a poor background and managed to do what he is doing through his own effort and not because he had any easy breaks. And, he is, after all, a teenager. I suspect that he is simply exuberant at having made it but is not yet mature enough to pretend that it is nothing. If he is still this way in 5 years then some of the comments might have validity.

I was "emotionally disturbed" as a kid (which is a term that apparently became popular in the '90s as a way of avoiding the more accurate and descriptive term–"spoiled, pain-in-the-аѕѕ brat." I can speak from personal experience and say that an old fashioned аѕѕ whippin' works wonders in many more ways that social skills counseling or Ritalin.
I can't wait for the teen idol crash that surely is to come. Hopefully he'll get to live under an interstate overpass for a while so he can learn some humility.
