Ryan Seacrest developing music show for NBC

Move over, "American Idol" - Ryan Seacrest is branching out with a new music show for a rival network.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Seacrest is currently developing a music-themed series for NBC. While details are vague and it remains to be seen what role he'll play on the show, it is known that the project is not a traditional competition program.

“It doesn’t make a lot of sense to host a show competing with Idol,” Seacrest, whose current $15 million contract forbids him from appearing on another network until 2012, told the Hollywood Reporter in March.

“I think it’s possible [to be the face of another show in the future], but at this point I certainly have not even gone down that road because 'Idol' is in a great place, so I think we’re just enjoying that and we want to focus on that.”

of course like your web-site however you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very bothersome to tell the reality on the other hand I will definitely come back again.

Every time a network lets this clown create another show, the entertainment industry sinks deeper and deeper into disrepair. STOP THE SEACREST!!!!!!!!

“Steven Tyler’s Secret Past” is an absolute must read. This just released true to life non-fiction thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat taking you into the dark world of Steven Tyler, the Mafia bosses who managed his career, and the very strange tactics used to deploy Aerosmith to the top of the world’s rock and roll scene. It’s a story of struggle and hardship, and overcoming great odds against enemies who’d stop at nothing to get their way. A few simple mistakes at the beginning of his career and Steven was in over his head caught between the CIA and his own Sicilian roots.

Dude! Seriously? Another frickin music show? Thank God for Cartoon Network! Even with AI, Voice, Glee, etc. There's still not very much real music on TV. Don Kirscner's Rock Concert, Soul Train. There was the good stuff!.
