'Family Guy' hurricane-themed crossover episodes postponedThis Sunday's planned crossover between "Family Guy," "The Cleveland Show" and "American Dad" has been postponed to next season, according to the New York Times. The recent events in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and other parts of the southeastern U.S. are the reason for the last-minute postponement, the paper reports. The episodes involve a hurricane that hits the fictional locales of Stoolbend, Quahog and Langley Falls, according to a description posted by the Fox network earlier this week. MTV UK creates 'Jersey Shore' across the pondSnooki and the gang have yet to begin filming season four in Italy, but a group of eight tanned 18- to 26-year-olds are already wreaking havoc across the pond. A new MTV UK series, “Geordie Shore,” was inspired by MTV’s mega-hit “Jersey Shore” and will premiere in the U.K. on May 24. The reality show, which takes place in Newcastle (also located in the northeast - the northeast of England, that is) draws from all the bits that make “Jersey Shore” a ratings juggernaut: “shared bedrooms, a shag-pile outhouse for ‘special visitors’ and a hot tub.” (Sound familiar, “Shore” fans?) Charlie Sheen: There's no 'Men' without meAlthough Charlie Sheen has said he would return to CBS’ “Two and a Half Men,” reports are flying that show creator Chuck Lorre is planning to proceed without him. According to the New York Times, Lorre is working on restructuring the show around a fresh face – and while Woody Harrelson, Jeremy Piven and Bob Saget have all been rumored to be replacement options, it doesn’t appear that any of the actors will become “Men’s” new star. An exec for the show's studio, Warner Bros. (which is owned by the same parent company as CNN) did say that one thing’s certain: “We are not bringing the show back with Charlie.” Sheldon's first kiss on 'The Big Bang Theory'Sheldon, out of his comfort zone, equals comedy gold. This is something that the writers of "The Big Bang Theory" are fully aware of, and they gave us a lot of that on Thursday night's episode. Sheldon decided to join Penny and her besties for a night out on the town, after getting "lawyered" by Priya over his roommate agreement with Leonard (and what an impressive display that was; still not a Priya fan, but I enjoyed this). It wasn't too long before the female trio were in various states of inebriation, and wanted to know if Sheldon had ever kissed a girl. The answer: Only his mother and Mee Maw. Bon Jovi supports Richie SamboraThe band Bon Jovi is not commenting on reports that their guitarist Richie Sambora has left their tour to check into rehab, but they are offering him good wishes. "Our support for Richie is absolute. He is, and will remain, a member of Bon Jovi," the band said in a statement. "Although he will be absent from upcoming shows for the time being, we very much look forward to his healthy return. In the meantime, we will keep our commitment to our fans and continue our tour." Bon Jovi has multiple tour dates coming up in the states and abroad. Rosie O'Donnell rethinks Trump Tower stayDonald Trump may be known for his wheeling and dealing but he couldn't make the sale for Rosie O’Donnell. Although O'Donnell announced recently that she was set to stay at the Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago as she tapes her new show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, the 49-year-old has since reconsidered. "She is not going to be living or renting a Donald Trump apartment and is still looking at real estate options," a rep for O'Donnell told the Advocate earlier this week. |
