It's true sweetie dahling, 'AbFab' is coming back

This news is "Absolutely Fabulous!"

According to The Daily Mail, Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley are set to reprise their roles in the hit British comedy "Absolutely Fabulous."

The show enjoyed  a cult following when it ran intermittently from 1992 to 2005.Developed by Saunders, the series followed the exploits of public relations firm owner Edina Monsoon (played by Saunders) and her boozy buddy, Patsy Stone (played by Lumley).

"Jen wrote to me and said, 'Let's talk through it. What do you think?'" Lumley told the paper. "And I said, 'Bring it on.' Because we're all still here. Mother's still alive, the wonderful June Whitfield. Julia Sawalha [and] Jane Horrocks [are] all still alive and available ... and I think we just have to do it."

Lumley told Hello magazine that she is set to start filming three episodes of "AbFab" starting in August.

We'll toast with some bubbly to that!

It's about time! I have missed this show so much. My daughter says I remind her of Eddy. I'll take that as a compliment.

YES!!!!! WOOO-HOOO!!!!! America could NEVER replicate a comedy like AbFab, and AbFab ANNIHILATES most American sitcoms on the air today, in my opinion. GREAT NEWS!!!!!!

I'll never forget the police stopping her (Patsy) in her jag or whatever, opening her door and all of these champagne bottles falling out, she stands up with her cigarette in her hand and instantly she collapses on the ground in front of the officer. Modern day female / Buster Keaton reincarnation. Can't wait, bring it, please, soooooooooooon!

Aren't they a bit old now? The first episode of the first season started with Edina waking up and realizing she has turned 40. The humour was about getting a little bit older but still being "in the game". How does that work when you have just turned 60? Other than "Golden Girls" there are not many successfull book, movies or TV series about old people. No one cares. I bet it is an AbFlop.

You silly, silly ass. You've got a lot to learn. When you are 60+. I hope you are miserable, just because your compassion sucks......

They "resurrected" it once before about two years after the show ended. It was a complete flop. No I dea why it only ran for such a short time....best show. So funny.

I would continue to have cable just for Ab Fab and CNN. It is a shame so many cast members are gone from "Are You Being Served" Also LOVE "Keeping Up Appearances" and "Allo' Allo" "
