Mathew Knowles: Split with Beyonce was 'strategic'Mathew Knowles says in an interview with BlackEnterprise.com that the decision to leave his gig as daughter Beyonce’s manager was not only an amicable one, but strategic. “The transition started way before the official announcement,” Knowles revealed. “If you’re strategic, which we are, you don’t make a decision like that before you start dialogue. That dialogue started nine months ago.” When the day arrived to reveal the news that the father and daughter’s business relationship had reached an end, Knowles said in a statement, "The decision for Beyonce and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment." Of course, Knowles added to Black Enterprise, “At the end of the day, I’m Beyonce’s father first and her manager second. Remember, this is 20 years I’ve been doing this. She’s almost 30 years old, and if she says, ‘I want to run my business,’ I think she’s smart enough that she will get the right team." And if she does still want his managerial advice, “she knows she can call me anytime. It takes a lot of hours and a lot of staff to run the business of Beyonce,” Knowles laughed. Knowles’ Music World Entertainment does still manage Destiny’s Child, however, and the exec said he can see the female supergroup eventually putting out a little something for their fans. “I wouldn’t be surprised if one day...Destiny’s Child goes on tour," Knowles said (which would definitely delight the fans that are waiting for a reunion). Or, perhaps, Knowles mused, “puts out a commemorative box set that includes everything about them that their lifelong fans want.”

Beyoce is almost 30, married to a hiphop emperor & her dads knockin' up his g-friend whos B's age! Yep, I'd want control of my own biz too. Matthew's had a great run, made his family famous& rich, lets see what else he can come up with. We know B's gonna knock em out tha box, what will Matthew put out that will stir our interest? Besides new heirs, that is. I have a feeling he needs Beyonce 100% more than she needs him!

I think this split has more to do with her parents recent divorce and the child that resulted from his affair. His mistress was close to Beyonce's age.
This has everything to do with protecting that knowles wealth. What would you do if you had a brand new heir.....split up that wealth

This seperation began when Mr. Knowles got his young, pretty girlfriend pregnant. Both his wife and daughters were devastated. It completely changed the relationship he had with Beyonce. This is just a PR spin.

I think it had more to do with his daughter embracing the satanic and Illuminati symbolism that Jay Z and Lady Gaga are using constantly. He manages mostly Christian performers and I'm sure that community is well aware of what she is involving herself in. I'm also sure they are offended and very disappointed. I'm not Christian myself but it is easy to see what she is doing if you know anything about the occult. Do a search for "beyonce" and "Sigil of Baphomet" and you will see her wearing the number one symbol of Satanism.

Beyonce and her father made an understandable choice. It is hard to work with family because family always comes first. i predict that Matt Knowles would have given more attention to his daughter weather she was famous or not.

I can only imagine what it takes to manage a star like Beyonce. Maybe he wanted a break, after 20 yrs. Beyonce is smart/business saavy and Im sure she can handle her own affairs at this point in her career/life. Plus, if she ever needs help, she can always ask Jay Z. (Which I doubt will ever happen.) Probably better to leave family/business seperate anyways, to avoid all problems.

There's alwas time for change, , she's a brand, a global/international singer-entertainer and very much poised to take the reigns (sp) of her career. She learned from the best.....her father.
