Front-runner voted off on 'Idol'SPOILER ALERT – Tonight's "Idol" blog will reveal who is leaving the competition, so please don't read if you don't want to know. I can barely bring myself to type this. I have never, in all my years as an "Idol" fan been more stunned this early in the competition. My phone is ringing off the hook and I'm getting texts left and right from friends who are in disbelief.

Randy said he's gutted. I cannot believe it. America, what happened?!?!? This is absolutely the most shocking elimination ever on this show.

'Idol' Top 9 learns fate tonightWant my prediction for who is going home tonight on "American Idol?" Well, I'm not even going to go there. This season is just too close to call. I'll risk the wrath of the Idol-ators and say I do believe this season has some of the most talented contestants ever.

Ryan Seacrest tops reality power listTake that Simon Cowell! Cowell's bud, Ryan Seacrest, has edged him out of the number one spot on The Hollywood Reporter's Fourth Annual Reality Power List. The former "American Idol" judge and "X Factor" creator held the number one spot for the past two years. Seacrest was recognized for his success on several fronts, including hosting "Idol" and his production company which is the driving force behind the Kardashian reality show franchise and an Emmy win for "Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution," which he produced. Cowell dropped to No. 6 on this year's list of 50 which includes "Kitchen Chef’s" Gordon Ramsay (No. 20), and Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner (No. 50).

Jay-Z launches new web siteA hip-hop version of Gwyneth Paltrow's "GOOP." Or at least close to it. That's what Rolling Stone seems to think of Jay-Z's new lifestyle web site Life + Times. The site is a mixture of items about fashion, sports, style, music, leisure and technology.
