In the upcoming drama "Water for Elephants," Robert Pattinson stars as a man whose life changes after he takes a job as a circus veterinarian and falls for the head trainer's wife, played by Reese Witherspoon. Much like their characters, both actors have found their lives undergoing major transformations recently.
Witherspoon exchanged vows with showbiz agent Jim Toth on March 26, and told CNN over the weekend that she's loving married life the second time around. "I'm only about five days in, but so far, it's great," she said.
The actress added that she enjoyed celebrating her big day surrounded by her children, friends, and family, but is now looking forward to going on her honeymoon—though she's remaining mum about the destination.
"Initially I thought about telling the world," she joked. "Then I thought better of it."
Pattinson, meanwhile, is wrapping up "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," the two-part finale to Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster vampire series.
Though the brooding Brit is happy to leave behind the special contacts he wore to play Edward Cullen, he admits he isn't looking forward to saying goodbye to his cast mates.
"It was like a family," he told CNN.
