Steve Carell, Keira Knightley to star in romantic comedy?

Steve Carell is in the mood for love now that he's wrapping things up at "The Office." The actor is set to star in a new romantic comedy with British beauty Keira Knightley.

Deadline reports that the funnyman is expected to headline "Seeking a Friend at the End of the World," a love story that unfolds as an asteroid is about to wipe out the earth.

Carell will play a man who finds himself alone after his panic-stricken wife leaves him. He then hears from a high-school sweetheart who says she wants them to be together when the world comes to an end.

Knightley is being eyed to play a neighbor who accompanies him on a road trip on his quest to find a new love.

"Seeking a Friend at the End of the World" will be Carell's first new feature film post-"Office." The actor will officially exit the NBC series after a seven-year stint on April 28.

I cant get past that big a$$ nose of his. He isnt funny at all, and the more he tries, the worse he gets. Give up on the comedy buddy, and try something else for a change. You might be better. Just saying....

Dont really care for Steve at all. If 'The Office' is any indication of how this new movie will be, then I say skip it.

Dude, is that really that funny to you? I mean you use Head Diva's name like every day and post very tired, pre-school level "jokes". She must've really burned you once for you to be this obsessed over her.

So i was saying that this morning i went to the bathroom and I couldn't go I force, grunt and even sway on the toilet to go. After about 10 mins of pushing I was to get it out. My stool was big, round, black and hard. It was a lot and I was happy that I didn't tear the delicate tissue around my a-nal. Later on I had to go again but it came out easy and I was happy.

I really would like to see how this movie plays out before passing a judgement. I love Steve in his genre of movies, and I worship Keira in hers repectively. To see the two collide might just be what will make this movie work!
Okay, so that's my shot of optimism for the day right there 🙂

Ohhh, I wonder if there will be something that is keeping them from falling in love (either realy or perceived), but eventually they work it out, or realize it doesn't matter or something, then finally end up together. It's those kind of deep and interesting plot lines that keep romantic comedies at the top of my list!!
(dripping sarcasm)...why would any self respecting actor sign on to do one??? What a waste of theatrical space

Romantic comedies are the worst genre of movies. There's almost zero chance they will be good and a high percentage of them have identical plotlines.
