Betty White to host senior citizen prank showNBC and Betty White are together again. The network that hosted "Golden Girls" for seven seasons has given White's new hidden-camera reality show the green light. The 89-year-old actress will host and executive produce the 12-episode series, which is being called "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," but that's a working title. The show is based on an award-winning European program called “Benidorm Bastards" that was originally produced in Belgium. According to a statement, “Betty White's Off Their Rockers” will follow “a band of seven senior citizens who make it their mission to play pranks on unsuspecting younger people."
Said White, "People have been telling me that I’m ‘Off My Rocker’ for years - now I can prove it.” The comedy series is just the latest project White has added to her to-do list. On top of starring in TV Land's "Hot In Cleveland," her book on everything from celebrity to sex, "If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won’t)," arrives in May.

Not true...have you ever seen an interview with this woman? She is hilarious; she has a wicked sense of humor! And she's warm hearted and her compassion for animals is truly noteworthy. Maybe YOU are only familiar with her roles but some of us admire her outside of her work.

Sorry, I am in the minority here..Loved Betty White in so many things she has appeared in but she has fallen into the trap liberal producers use to seduce older and willing actresses and actors to lose all shame and portray themselves often in a very poor light.....the older the dirtier they seem to get....... like if they don't take the bait they will be forgotten.......it is really sad I think.

Exactly my thoughts. Get the aging comedians, who succeeded by their skill and wits, to drop the f bomb in the vulnerable twilight of their careers, and, by lowering themselves, raise the younger crowd who can do little else. Disgraseful but predictable.
I am disappointed that Betty White would lend her name to, let alone participate in, such a demeaning project.
