Rihanna means what she sings in 'S&M'Rihanna isn't lying when she sings about finding whips and chains exciting in her hit single “S&M.” The pop star reveals in a saucy interview with Rolling Stone that those sort of accoutrements are a plus in the bedroom. "I like to take charge, but I love to be submissive," she tells the magazine. “You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge…That's sexy to me. I work a lot, and I have to make a lot of executive decisions, so when it comes to being intimate, I like to feel like I'm somebody's girl." Also on her list of turn-ons? Spontaneity. “Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned – you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. . . . I'd rather have him use his hands.” Yet, truth be told, she's not getting a lot of loving right now. "I'm not dating," Rihanna admits. "I'm not even sexting. It's on complete nil." Dirty talk aside, Rih was just as revealing when it comes to her personal life. On her decision to lift the "stay away" order against her former boyfriend Chris Brown, who assaulted her in 2009 and was subsequently barred from coming within 50 yards of her, Rihanna says it was her choice to make. "That's my decision. It doesn't mean we're gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn't want to object to the judge," she explains to RS. "[Chris Brown and I] don't have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally." "What he did to me was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career," Rihanna continues. "Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can't perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him. That was the only thing it was going to change, so I didn't care. But you can never please people. One minute I'm being too hard, and the next minute I'm a fool because I'm not being hard enough." Technology is great but it allows for every crappy opinion (included mine – sometimes) to be heard. Why are naysayers the loudest though? People get too involved in the personal lives of stars. Do we care what the customer agent at our telephone provider does? No, I think not. Yeah Yeah the whole role model thing but don't we have our own personalities and our knowledge of right and wrong. Oh sigh, I am so over this Rihanna Chris Brown thing. Rihanna has moved on, clearing Chris's fans have moved on. As Rihanna said – it was personal, not professional and the rest of us need to learn to separate the two. Here's some education for you. Theres a WORLD of difference between consensual play between two adults and abuse and violence inflicted on a partner. One is fun, asked for and, if done right, safe and a turn on. The other, ie abuse, is not asked for, is not safe, and is criminal. I am assuming you arent old enough or wise enough to know the difference.
