'Showbiz Tonight' Flashpoint: Should CBS take back Charlie Sheen?After we heard the reports about Charlie Sheen possibly returning to “Two and a Half Men,” we had to ask in our "Showbiz Tonight" exclusive poll: Would you want to see him back on the show? And check out the shocking results… 48 percent of you say, “Yes, I miss him," while 52 percent say, “No, good riddance.” I’m actually not surprised by the close results. No matter what Charlie does, there are a lot of people who just don’t care. They just like his show.
But if CBS takes him back, it will really seem like the almighty dollar is all that matters. Why CBS would willingly subject themselves to more Charlie Sheen drama – no matter how much money he makes for them – is beyond me. What do you think? Post your comments below. Yes, they should take him back. It just won't be the same without him. Charlie is a super achiever and some respect should be given to him for quitting drugs cold turkey. Sure, you could see it in his actions, his body is going through withdrawal symptoms. But how many people can decide to do something like that and stick with it.....not many. CBS and company and Sheen should let bygones be bygones and just decide to get back to work.....good for them and the fans.....work it out guys.
Charlie Sheen is a part of a money making show, why would CBS want to stop that. He may be a jerk but money is what they show up to work for and if he can deliver than welcome back charlie. CBS is not a church it's a money making business so they can tolerate him as long as the dollars continue to flow in.
First: Charlie should back to put snob peoples nose into the dirt, Second: He is an actor and showman, he do his job and do not beleve to the vote result, most of them are housewifes and nurses, who hates Charle.

Charlie's great on the show, but if they take him back after this behavior, it will set a precedent. In my opinion, it will be nothing short of the woman who after buying a coffee at McDonalds foolishly spilled it on herself and sued THEM ... AND WON ... preposterous!!!
Dudes, quit harshing Charlie's mellow! He knows how to craft a good buzz and maintain it, truly an expert amateur pharmacologist!
I think there should be a boycott of ALL CBS TV shows to show WE DON"T WANT CHARLIE SHEEN on TV AT ANY COST OR WINNINGS. Maybe he isn't the only delusional CBS employee. What CBS executive thought that was a good idea. He isn't a WINNER to me.
two and a half men is a great show, just look at how many people love the show,sheen is an actor ,he acts ! is your personal life above scrutiny of an apoplectic level ??, he's not a good role model granted' but he doesnt pretend to be .come on man the show works lets have it back !!
He has been drinking alot for a long time.. I hope he gets checked by a physician for stomach and intestinal cancer. I sure hope he doesnt have it. Hope me and you dont have it either. All of us folks need to hang around here on earth for a while.
the show is a show about his life! he really is the character he is playing! to replace him with someone else who doesn't live that life will destroy the show. CBS couldn't replace him. The show is about him!!!

Two and a Half Men is a great show and I don't want to see it die, Charlie has always had problems but he can play the part like no other.
Charlie played a part on Two and a Half Men that no one else could play, He was supurb. We need him back.
I like Charlie Sheen and the show he did 2 and a half men, just think he's going to really hit rock bottom once he spends all his money and hopefully get help.
Charlie is like a class clown. The more you laugh at him and the more attention he gets the more he acts out. It may have been funny at 1st, but now its getting boring and tiresome.Either hire him back or fire him already! Were getting sick of hearing about it. He is not all that.

I have to admit I like Charlie less and less, but he's such a natural on that wonderfull show, that I hope he comes back.
Why would he need rehab when he was perfectly capable of doing the show before even when he was still a "hot mess"? If he can do the show smashed, why does he need rehab?
Sorry to say that Charlie is one hot mess right now, and I'm scared for his health and for the safety of those around him. He's demonstrated over and over that he is in desperate need of help (although he still doesn't seem to have hit bottom), and I sincerely hope that if CBS were to take him back, that one of the absolute, unnegotiable conditions is a SERIOUS rehab stint first, which I don't think he'd accept. Sorry Charlie.
Charlie's gonna do what Charlie's gonna do. Part of the fun is trying to figure out what that is!
I still like Charlie and want CBS and Warner Bros. to make amends with Charlie and return Charlie to Two & a Half men now. If Charlie does not come back, I will not watch no more. I've watched the show from start to now, and watch the re-runs Monday through Sunday. I'm a loyal fan of Charlie and hope he is okay. I hope and wish him a positive and successful life. Would like to see him in movies on the big screen again. He's good looking and an excellent actor.
CBS has so many good shows that it wouldn't miss this one and certainly we wouldn't miss Sheen

All rich people get rewarded for bad behavior. That's almost like a rule.
Taking Charlie back just proves that celebrities get rewarded for bad behavior. But then again, I am a reality show hoe and I love watching any train wreck you put in front of me. Maybe I am the problem....?
Diva you are the problem, sorry to say, but I would watch 1 million "2 1/2 men" before I'd watch ONE reality show. As a feminist, much of Charlie's show should repulse me, but I look at it as entertainment and I also use it as an opportunity to educate my daughters on what kind of guy they "better NOT bring home". But the world is full of Charlie Sheens. The CBS exec's are nuts... he's the only reason they even have a network. AND here's what's really stupid, they based the show on the real Charlie sheen's life – and used his blunders and man-ho activities to make millions, I don't see him doing anything new that he wasn't doing when they hired him 8 years ago. Most likely they have some conservative advertiser who was "offended" by Charlie's most recent behavior. I'd say get over it... he's making everyone millions, WAY more than they are paying him for. Charlie, GIVE CBS the boot right after they offer you your job back and take your show to cable, where you can really get buck wild... SHAMELESS anyone?!!!

Uh, if they take him back, the lawsuit is moot. The good news is that if they take him back, and he stays sober, the ratings will blast through the atmosphere like ... A Mercury Surfboard to Mars, or some other Sheen-ism.
Count me as a new watcher - I gave up on CBS years ago, but new 2 1/2 Men episodes would get my attention. Brilliant comedians =off= drugs are often much sharper than brilliant comedians =on= drugs.
