Jimmy Kimmel's audience certainly seemed to be winning when Charlie Sheen made a surprise appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last night.
Kimmel was interviewing HDNet owner Mark Cuban and asked him about Sheen, who is reportedly in talks for a show on Cuban's network.
"Charlie's a smart guy. He doesn't get near the credit that he deserves for being smart," said Cuban, when Sheen—holding a bag—suddenly walked out, greeted the audience and kissed Kimmel on the lips.
"Dude, you forgot your merchandise at my house today," Sheen told Cuban before opening the bag, taking out some T-shirts — featuring his face and a "Winning" logo as well as one with a kitten and the catchphrase "I Have Tiger's Blood in Me" — and handing them out to the audience.
Turning to Kimmel, Sheen said, "Your lips are very moist," and gave the confused host a mug with a fox on it - perhaps a not-so-veiled reference to Sheen's reported meeting with Fox Sports last Thursday. According to Deadline, the troubled actor had an exploratory conversation with top executives, though no specific show ideas were pitched.
Meanwhile, Sheen's co-star Jon Cryer already has a new gig lined up. The New York Times reports that he'll appear in the New York Philharmonic's upcoming production of the musical "Company," playing the pot-smoking pal of a single guy, portrayed by fellow CBS star Neil Patrick Harris.
